The apartment is a short drive away from the many beaches and pristine coves lining the coastline of Menorca. Nowhere is far away on Menorca and the second town, Ciutadella is a mere 45 minutes drive away.
The apartment is close to shops, has a lift and a small balcony. Parking is easy and an underground park is available also.
Golf is available at Son Parc, a 30 minutes drive away.

Menorca has been designated as a Biosphere Reserve, an area of immense beauty, which will be preserved from inappropriate development.
Those seeking pristine beaches, walking, hiking, natural habits and birdlife and good food and wine will not be disappointed with Menorca. The Menorcans love a carnival and many fiestas are held throughout the year.
Airport welcome and car hire can be arranged on request at a small extra charge of 30 Euro. A welcome pack can also be supplied.
The apartment is close to shops and a supermarket is a 5 minute walk. An English speaking manager lives close by and will be available to assist with any difficulties.
The Menorca region
Menorca is the second largest of the Balearic Islands, yet has more beaches than Majorca and Ibiza combined. It is less developed in the classical tourist sense than its neighbours. Those who visit come back again and again.
The island has been called an open air museum with a myraid of ancient burial chambers dotting the landscape. The landscape of the interior is rural and has changed little since the beginning of the 20th century. The history of Menorca includes the Romans, Arabs, British, Turks, and Catalans, all of whom have left their mark on the landscape.
A holiday in Menorca is more than simply resting on a beach! There are many opportunities to explore the countryside, engage in outdoor activities such as walking, boating and cycling, exploring the culture and history of the island, and to taste the gin and cheese for which the island is famous.
Although the island is quieter than its neighbours Majorca and Ibiza, it also has its share of bars, restaurants and discos. It is renowned for its many fiestas held at various times throughout the year.
Mahon is built around its magnificent port. It is the second deepest port ion the world, after Pearl Harbour. Much of the social activity of Mahon is centred around here, which in the summer is a hive of activity, with its myraid of bars and restaurants.
The port is often lined with large ocean going yachts and motor cruisers and is the place to see and be seen! The main festival La Verge del Gracia is held in September. A great time to enjoy Mahon!

"Nice apartment, well-located"
We stayed for one week in the summer of 2012: my husband, myself, and our 4 year old. It was a 15-20 minute walk to the center of Mahon, which was fine. We had a car, which is essential for getting around on the island -- e.g., to any beaches or to other cities for meals. Street parking was always available and very close, so we never used the garage. The kitchen was comfortable to use for the little cooking that we did, and it was admittedly convenient to have two bathrooms. There was a pharmacy literally just outside the entrance, a reasonably sized grocery store a 2-minute drive away, and a small playground a 2 minute walk away. The central airconditioning was nice to have (especially with high humidity and temperatures edging toward 40), although it had a tendency to unevenly cool the rooms.
The one nit-pick that I have is that the rooms don't have darkening shades. This was mostly a problem for our 4-year old who had trouble getting to sleep at nap time and tended to wake up early with the sun.
Many thanks for your review. I appreciate the feedback. I will look at installing darkening blinds/shutters. The apartment is a 15/20 minute walk to the centre of Mahon, although I once did it in 12 minutes! It is of course just about 6/7 minutes walk from the Old Port. Many thanks once again.
