Experience the joy of staying in Mauritius at The Bleu Bay Lodge situated in the beautiful and exceptional Blue Bay National Marine Reserve Park, at only 10 minutes drive from the Airport, 5 minutes from the historical village of Mahebourg and 100 meters from the beach.
The property for rent is situated on the ground floor and comprises of a large living & dining room with comfortable furniture, TV, a nice bar and a spacious terrace with a barbeque corner. There is one single room, one double-bedroom, another double-bedroom with en-suite bathroom & WC, a large shower room with WC and a fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary appliances for your comfort.
If you like snorkelling or being in a “Glass Bottom Boat” you will be well served, meeting with the numerous amazing aquatic species in the Marine Park, Should you prefer visiting the Mahebourg village and its surrounding you will enjoy the simplicity of the Mauritian people, Mauritian food and learn about its history.

The Grand Port region
The Grand Port bay where the Dutch, the first inhabitants of the island disembarked in 1598.has some interesting places to visit.
1) Vieux Grand Port is the cradle of Mauritian history, as this is where people first settled on the inhabited island called Mauritius.
2) The historical Mahebourg Village (Museum, restaurants, market, shops ...)

Our summer temperature (October to May) varies between 26 to 34 degree and the sea temperature is +/-25 degree. In winter temperature is between 20 to 26 degree and sea temperature +/-20 degree.
Mahebourg / Blue Bay area
Mahebourg, is the perfect representation of a typical Mauritian village. Its fauna and flora are well represented in I’le aux Aigrettes bird sanctuary. Fishermen come here every day with their catch. Shops and street peddlers have all sorts of spices and delicacies. Monday is market day, where you can find a great variety of local crafts and textiles.
How to get there
10 minutes drive from the SSR International Airport. Taxi available at the Airport. Follow direction towards " Mahebourg" , before arriving at " Mahebourg" turn right towards "Blue Bay" then right again in " Rue des Corbigeau " until intersection then left the "Blue Bay Lodge" is the third house on the left.
