It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the old city of Mahdia, where you still find a number of traditional silk factories and several quaint coffee houses. Mahdia is also very popular for its balneotherapy. We will help you to find the best places.
There is also a local market for the best fresh groceries or fish just captured the same morning. Every Friday there is a village market - a must to visit, especially for buying all your souvenirs to bring home from North Africa!
