"Perfect house for large groups - couldn't have asked for more from owners."
We were a group of 9 adults and 4 young children on a weekend getaway, and were worried we would be on top of each other. However this was absolutely not the case. The house was so big, we all had our own space. We kept the drawing room and dining room as "adult" areas for once the kids were in bed, which worked really well. The number of bathrooms was also a big plus for such a large group. The gardens were amazing - so much space for running around and the see-saw in the back garden was well utilised. We made good use of the courtyard area too for BBQs in the evenings. We had organised a Tesco delivery for the Friday evening when we arrived, which I would recommend. We didn't need to go to the shops all weekend. The house is incredibly well equipped for cooking - every utensil you could possibly need and plenty of plates/cups etc for a large group. The owner - Will -couldn't have been more welcoming, he even left us a bottle of wine and some cakes which was a really lovely touch. He was also incredibly prompt at replying to any email queries during the booking process. We spent the majority of our long weekend in the house and gardens but did take a trip to Marble Arch caves and into Enniskillen (both a drive away). All in all would highly recommend this property - we are already planning a return trip. The house was summed up pretty well by one of the 3 year olds who described it as "just wow".

"Lovely Scottsborough Manor"
From my first contact with the owner I was impressed with the easy and friendly way my questions were dealt with. The house is exactly as it appears in the advertisment. On arrival we were met by the owner who supplied us with cakes and information on the house. It was the ideal house for the ten of us, comfortable, warm and had everything we needed. We mainly stayed around the house for the weekend, apart from one visit to Enniskillen to buy food and wine. I intend returning to Scottsborough Manor with another group of friends early in 2013..

"Fantastic family holiday in beautiful house and glorious surroundings"
We went to Scottsboro Manor to celebrate my sister's 40th birthday and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The house was beautiful and the furnishings luxurious. We were a party of 14 with 8 kids and there was ample room for all of us with the adults able to retreat to the magnificent drawing room for some peace and relaxation. There was a great selection of books and dvds to keep everyone occupied and the large dining room was great for late night games of monopoly as well as dinner. Would definitely recommend Scottsboro Manor for family get togethers and Will and Arlow were very friendly and welcoming. We are hoping that this will be the first of many family get togethers at this wonderful house. Many Thanks to Will and family.

"Absolutely a dream place to stay.... to the manor born!!"
A fabulous experience in such a lovely family home. Three groups of family and we all had our own space. Beautiful garden for the kids to play tennis, football, rounders, ride bikes and run free. Every luxury you would expect from such a well thought out holiday let at this end of the market. Audrey, William and the kids were so welcoming and made our kids feel relaxed straight away. We spent days out at Castle Coole, Marble Arch Caves, Castle Leslie and many an evening at Galloon Jetty for the kids to water ski and lark around. However my favourite bit was coming back to the house for a lovely evening overlooking open fields and country walks. Nobody wanted to go home when the time came to an end. I would recommend this holiday home very highly and cannot wait to revisit.

We visited Scottsboro Manor for a long weekend last August to celebrate my dad's 70th - there were 3 generations there (including a 2 year old!) so we were a bit concerned we would be in each others pockets! It turned out we had nothing to worry about.! It is a really beautiful house - that is also obviously a much loved family home. We felt like guests of a close friend as there were nothing at all that we needed that was not provided. Furniture, decor, utilities were all perfect and beyond what we expected. Lovely personal but simple touches eg a vast selection of DVD's and beautiful rooms including a cosy living area, a library and a massive country kitchen which was well equipped - along with magnificent dining room and dining table (for our takeaway as we were all too lazy to cook!) Audrey and Will were so helpful before we arrived through their correspondence and were there to meet us to show us around the house and gardens. We also loved the gardens and my toddler loved the space - as did our two dogs. We actually took a photo of us all at the front of the house and have it on canvas in our living room at home. My little boy keeps asking when we are going back to the big house! The barbecue in the local pub (a short walk down the road) was recommended - and it was indeed great - with a covered area if the weather is bad. We would definately go back, just looking for another family celebration as an excuse for us all to get together again!

"Somewhere extra special!"
Scottsboro was a truly lovely place to stay. Starting from the warm welcome given by Audrey, continuing with all the extra special touches around this magnificent home. Travelling with Grandparents and children, we all felt more than comfortable and catered for within Scottsboro. I have no hesitation in recommending anyone to stay there, and look forward to visiting there again myself.

"Home from home only more luxurious, wonderful!"
We stayed here in August 2011 and had a fantastic week. Our party included three couples and 8 children (3 of which were babies in travel cots). The house itself is beautiful, a grand manor house at the top of a sweeping driveway surrounded by vast gardens. As grand as the house was, it was very homely and welcoming and it was obvious that the family enjoy this home themselves. The sunroom was great for the kids [and the Dads}with the huge flat screen TV and a huge library of DVDs, whilst the drawing room was an absolute haven for the Mums. The kitchen has absolutely everything you could possibly need (even an electric carving knife for the Sunday roast, I brought my own and needn't have}.The kids were able to eat at the kitchen table while the adults could relax at the formal dining table just through the door. The downstairs toilet was a Godsend with so many kids as was the laundry room. We were blessed with lovely weather which meant we were able to breakfast at the picnic table on the patio most days and enjoyed a couple of barbeques there too. The children loved the gardens with the football nets in the front garden and the swingset in the walled garden. The bedrooms were all very roomy with strunning views from every window and having three bathrooms upstairs was fantastic, we basically had a bathroom per family (plus the downstairs shower room!). Prior to our stay the communication with Audrey, the owner, was great. She was so helpful regarding directions and all my questions and queries. On arrival at the property we were greeted by Audrey's husband Tom and three of their delightful children (I was completely enchanted by Arlo, their youngest). He gave us a thorough tour of the house explaining where everything was and how everything worked and made us feel so welcome right from the outset. He had provided some basics to get us started (milk, tea, coffee, sugar and some homemade scones, butter and jam) which was much appreciated. There were ample towels, toilet rolls and cleaning supplies which haven't always been provided in other houses we've stayed in, little things that make all the difference. In summary I would highly recommend this house and hope to return soon.

"Fantastic base to discover Northern Ireland."
We travelled by ferry/car to Scottsborough House in August 2011, two sisters with their husbands, 2 children each, elderly parents and 2 dogs. We were welcomed by the family, shown around and given tips on how to make the most of our holiday. We had already booked ASDA online to deliver a shop, fantastic, we cooked an evening meal and enjoyed a glass of wine or two in the beautiful gardens, surrounded by outstanding views and the grazing cattle. This house is beautifully decorated and is so big we were never on top of one another, it has everything you need, lots of cups/plates/glasses/pots & pans, televisions, dvds for the kids. We were very close to family so lots of visiting, we also travelled to places of Interest which we found through the Information folder made available to us by The Toms Family. All in all, we can not recommend Scottsborough house enough and will definitley be planning another trip soon!!

"A house where body, mind and spirit become relaxed and rejuvenated"
From our first inquiry about the house the proprietors Audrey and Will were attentive and facilitating. On arrival the fires were already blazing, and a welcome pack of food on the kitchen table. The kitchen was large and extremely well stocked, with a magnificent cooking range. A dining room with ambience really added to our delight . We were a group of 10 adults so the large dining room table facilitated convivialilty together with meals of long duration. The whole house was warm and comfortable. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious, well furnished and comfortable. As well as the comforts and welcoming atmosphere of the house, I have to add that my special memory of this house, is being awed by the beautiful original paintings and artifacts which decorated every nook and cranny of the house. I could feel the peaceful silent presence of each picture and item. It's memory will always be with me as a house which enriched one aesthetically, as well as being a wonderful holiday house in a great location. The surrounding countryside is panoramic and great for walks. I have stayed in many places, however I would rate this house and it's owners as being 'tops' for imparting that peaceful feeling which one carries away with them and never forgets. Thank you Audrey and Will!
