The South Wales region

This is an area of mountains, sea and national park and somewhere that has been attracting holidaymakers for many years. Pembrokeshire Coast national Park in the south west is a favourite holiday destination, with miles of coastal footpaths and wonderful seascapes; lots of Blue Flag beaches and seas rich in marine life. Further east Carmarthenshire also has lots to attract holidaymakers, with historic castles, mountains, rivers and of course coastline. No matter where you choose your never too far away from mountains and the sea and of course there is the thriving cities of Cardiff and Swansea to visit, where you'll find lots of first class shops, cafes and restaurants.

Maesteg

The cottage itself is an excellent location for those with an urge for the outdoors, being set in the heart of the Afan valley and close to the stunning Brecon Beacons, the possibilities for outdoor adventure and exploration here are endless! From mountain biking to cycling, walking, rambling, canoeing, fishing, surfing on the coast and much more, visitors can enjoy roaming the beautiful countryside for the duration of their stay! Port Talbot also acts as a good base for exploring some of the best sights that southern Wales has to offer, from city centre days out in Swansea and Cardiff to coastal paths and glorious sandy beaches, all of this and more is within easy reach of White's Level House. Port Talbot itself is a charming market town, and has plenty of pubs, shops and restaurants for visitors to sample, and a stroll along the bay or a visit to the local theatre can be the perfect way to spend an evening in this beautiful part of Wales.
