About the home

Villa Sappaya has a view to the sea from upstairs & is located in the magical beach village of Maenam. It has everything you could possibly want in holiday. The beach is 40 meters from the front door, there are plenty of good restaurants, boutique clothes stores, friendly locals who are more than happy to share a bit of the charm of their culture and at the end of the day a private pool and a modern house to come home to.

The villa is well planned for family living. It is arranged over two floors. The ground floor has a bright living room with a 42"tv, ipod station, internet and satellite TV and is comfortably furnished. There is also a large kitchen/ dining area with a breakfast bar and a formal 6 seater dining table and chairs. The kitchen is modern white with black marble tops, fitted appliances and well equipped. There is a guest shower room downstairs, perfect to rinse off in after a swim. An awning is available for use above sliding terrace doors at rear of villa.

Upstairs there are two master bedrooms, each with a king sized bed and ensuite bathroom.
The villa itself is located in the quiet village of Maenam where there are over 15 restaurants within walking distance as well as shops, pharmacies and of course the 8 kilometer stretch of beach.

The Koh Samui region

Samui is a wonderful, tropical paradise where the temperatures remain almost the same all year around.
Its a small island but with something to suit everyone. Great beaches, quaint shopping areas or the busy shpping street of Chaweng.
Samui first became a tourist destination in the 80's as a backbackers retreat but has since grown to have luxury villas and 5 star hotels.
You can sit back and relax, enjoy elephant rides, water sport or enjoy the husle ,bustle of the shopping districts and many restaurants and bars around the island.
When it comes to getting around and seeing Koh Samui's attractions you'll find that there's actually quite a lot to take in. On the animal front there's a zoo, snake farm and a monkey school/show.

There's even buffalo fighting - a traditional Southeast Asian attraction, a crocodile farm - and on the gentler side of things you can visit a butterfly farm. Temple enthusiasts should head to the big Buddha - recommended at sunset. Samui's beaches are especially varied and beautiful and are worth a look at, perhaps by renting a car and doing the 'round tour' of the island's circular road.

The Maenam area

A sandy beach and great views towards the neighbouring island of Koh Phangan make this one of Samui's most popular beaches. The number of fine restaurants and businesses along its main road are steadily increasing. In the hills above Maenam is the world famous Santiburi Golf and Country Club, set within a spectacular tropical landscape of lush fairways, beautifully manicured greens, waterfalls and creeks, with dramatic views of the coastline towards Maenam.

On Thursday nights Maenams quiet, boutique village comes alive with walking street. A street market with tasty food, gift items, clothes and the infamous Mojito man!!!!
