Cottage | 3 bedrooms | sleeps 5
Pandai House is set in the Old Flannel Mill called Dan-y-Bont and lies on the outskirts of the village of Gilwern in a very dramatic location with woodland views and with the mountain stream flowing down dramatically down through the Gorge. There is a village shop, post office, garage and several pubs providing good food within easy walking distance. Perhaps parents with younger children should note that the river bank is very steep at this point, it is railed off but flows fast over rocks through a narrow gorge. It is very picturesque and beautiful, but could be quite dangerous for adventurous children if unsupervised.
Sleeps 5, 2 bedrooms. A very well equipped and built-in kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge and freezer, washing machine.
Comfortable and most attractively furnished sitting room with sofa and chairs, TV; dining area with dining table and chairs.
Bedroom 1: A pretty double bedroom with a double bed.
Bathroom has a bath with shower over, handbasin and toilet.
From this floor there is access out onto a timber deck with seating to catch the sunshine.

"It was absolutely beautiful, and so homely and comfortable. The location was great for the Green Man festival.
The owner seemed very friendly when I spoke to her to confirm key collection. She left lovely welcoming gifts for us (a bottle of wine and pack of chocolate biscuits) which were very much appreciated! When she heard that we were bringing young children with us, she also left out the highchair (plus bib) and notes about things to be careful of with our children (eg watching out for high windows upstairs for their safety). I would really recommend this lovely cottage, and wouldn't change a thing. Thanks" Kim
