Very nice refurbished apartment situated in the centre of Madrid. The apartment is located in Callao within a beautiful plaza based just off the main road of Gran Vía. Granvía is one of the main streets in Madrid on which stretches all kinds of attractions such as theatres, cinemas, shops, restaurants and various cafes. The Metro station of Callao is 50m from the apartment. and within the area there are also supermarkets and fruit markets such as the "San Miguel Market". Within walking distance from the apartment the areas of Sol and Opera, can be found where Plaza Mayor, the Palacia Real and the most prestigious opera theatre in Madrid are all located.
This unique location is ideal for enjoying the main attractions and places of interest, you can walk to most of the famous areas of the city. However whilst being so close to the city centres life the apartment is located behind the main road of Granvía, at a distance of about 100 - 200 meters in a peaceful plaza, containting the more typical spanish shops and cafes and providing the apartment with a great escape from the busy streets to enjoy a quiet stay. An ideal option for families and groups of up to 5 holiday makers for a quiet aparmtent in the centre of Madrid.

Madrid City / Puerta de Sol area
All of the most famous tourist areas are located in the historical centre of Madrid middle south of the city: Puerta del Sol in the middle, Plaza Mayor a bit to the south, Palacio Real to the west, and Plaza de Colón to the north-east. Some of those hot spots spread up past the Gran Via, which is one of the main streets in Madrid (the largest one being Alcalá Street, followed by the Paseo de la Castellana).

Gran Vía, (Metro:Gran Via, Callao, Plaza de España, Banco de España). Literally, "Broadway", Gran Via is one of the busiest avenues in Madrid, what you could call the main street of Madrid, and the location of the cinema district.
Check out some Flamenco. Visit the Corral de la Moreria. One of the most famous flamenco tablaos in the world. It´s right in the heart of the city, and you can enjoy a full fledged Spanish meal while you watch performances by renowned international flamenco music and dance artists.

Prized as a vacation opportunity, Semana Santa – Holy Week – still remains one of the religious highlights of the year. Cofradías (fraternities) allied to churches take turns parading life-sized religious sculptures, usually of Christ and the Virgin. They shuffle slowly through the streets, drawing large and extremely lavishly decorated floats. Some of the most impressive include that of Jesús Nazareño el Pobre from the church of San Pedro el Viejo and many of the parades around the La Latina neighborhood. Churches host special masses, organ concerts and choral recitals.

Further details indoors: This apartment has been completely refurbished, and offers all the modern facilities, such as air conditioning which enables you to adjust the temperature to your liking. The main bedroom has a large double bed including 2 single beds, plus a sofa bed. In the lounge area there is a CD player and a DVD player with a TV. The homely fireplace, parquet flooring and the abundant natural light gives this luxury flat a high level of comfort.
Bed linen and towels are provided; they are changed every week when the flat is cleaned.
Further details outdoors: This apartment is located within 2 minutes walk of Madrid's main avenue, Gran Vía, and Plaza Callao is literally just yards away with its large department stores such as El Corte Inglés. This is an important commercial area In front of the flat there is available public parking for your car (pleasse note parking in central area is not cheap).

To make this reservation effective, it is necessary to send a deposit of 150€ minimumor or 20 % of your stay. This is also a damage deposit which we’ll return to you at the end of your stay, Final cleaning service is not included in the price, for 1-4 persons 50 € , 5 or more persons 75€ will be taken off the final amount we return at the end of your stay. Our work schedule is between 9 to 20 hr, if you arrive out of this period there will be an additional charge of 30 euros.
