This stylish two bedroom apartment enjoys a prime location in Madrid's historic centre. The surrounding area is renowned for its restaurants and cafés, many of which retain the oldest of Madrid's dining traditions. Nearby, residents will find the Royal Theatre, the Royal Palace and the market of La Cebada. Given the strict architectural zoning laws in this historically important neighbourhood, the renovation of this property involved painstaking efforts to uphold its original and characteristic style, whilst executed with considerable panache. Located on the top-floor of the building, with exposed wood beams in the ceilings, the desgin takes full advantage of the apartment's space and light. The living room has a spectacular five metre-high ceiling and features a functioning burnished steel fireplace; it also offers access to a small terrace, furnished with a table and chairs. A steel staircase leads to the upper floor where a bathroom and master bedroom are located. A skylight in the bedroom's ceiling offers rare views across the rooftops of Madrid's "old city" and many of its landmarks. The bathroom has been fitted with an elegant clawfoot bathtub.

Main Floor: Entrance hall leads into a living room furnished with a 2-seater sofa, an armchair, a wooden coffee table, a fireplace, a 26" LCD TV and DVD player. This room has access to a balcony, which holds an outdoor dining table and 2 chairs. To the left of the entrance, is a bedroom with a single bed (0.90m x 1.90m), a wardrobe and an en suite walk-in shower room. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator / freezer, 4 ring ceramic hob (stove), oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and next to it there is a bar with two "tabouret" stools. Top Floor: There is a master bedroom (queen-sized bed 1.50m x 1.90m) with a wardrobe and an en suite bathroom with a bathtub. It also has a desk and a chair.
