International brands, independent boutiques, classic tabernas, great restaurants and quirky bars jostle for space on Fuencarral, and spill over to the surrounding streets of the Malasana neighbourhood, one of the most vibrant areas in Madrid. Fuencarral leads south onto the art deco Gran Via avenue - one of the capital's must-see sights. The surrounding neighbourhoods of Tribunal, Chueca and Justicia offer up some of the city's best nightlife and shopping, while the Puerta del Sol at the heart of the city can be reached on foot within 20 minutes. A numberof transport links mean that guests can explore the rest of the city and beyond with ease. The main sitting room runs the entire length of the apartment, with floor-to-ceiling balconette windows giving views out onto the street below. The sitting area moves seamlessly to thedining room which takes centre stage in the apartment, and then onto a second sitting room, adjacent to the large open-plan kitchen. The kitchen has been fully equipped with all the best appliances and amenities that guests may need during their stay, and is surrounded by a square breakfast bar, perfect for informal meals.The white pillars placed throughout the apartment help create the illusion of separation and added privacy without losing all the benefits of the open-plan design.No expense has been spared in the decoration and furnishing of the property.Designer light fittings create the right ambience throughout, and cleverly placed mirrors enhance the feeling of space. The apartment has been decorated throughout in a minimalist and contemporary style,with a neutral palette, top quality furnishings, original artwork on the walls and hardwood flooring. The master bedroom is extremely spacious,with its own sitting area, flat screen television, ample wardrobe space and double en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom is smaller, but similar in design and feel, with its own en-suite with large walk-in shower. The third bedroom comes with anen-suite and its own living room, but it must be noted that the ceiling in this bedroom is somewhat lower than other parts of the apartment. This is without a doubt one of our most impressive apartments, and is ideal for those looking for the very best during their time in Madrid.

Accommodation and Facilities

Surface Area: 400 m2. First Floor (The elevator in this building operates only between floors 1 and 2 - this apartment is located on floor 1 so it is accessed by stairs only). The entrance leads into a large hall, and to the open-plan living / dining space. The living room with floor-to-ceiling balconette windows offers different sitting areas: an L- shaped 6-seater sofa with matching puff, 2 glass coffee tables, 2 design leather chairs on one side of the room and a second sofa with coffee table on the other side. The sitting area connects to the dining room with a large dining table for up to 8 people and then onto a second sitting room, adjacent to the large open-plan kitchen. This room has a L- shaped 6-seater sofa, a glass coffee table, 2 side tables, an LCD television and a designer chaise lounge. The kitchen has been fully equipped with modern appliances and is equipped with a fridge / freezer, oven, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, professional coffee maker and is surrounded by breakfast bar with 6 tabouret chairs. There is also a utility room with laundry facilities. Along the corridor there are three main bedrooms: The impressive master bedroom (king- sized bed 1.80m x 2.00m), with its own sitting area, flat screen television, ample wardrobe space and en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and separate bath. The second bedroom has a double bed (1.50m x 2.00m), with its own en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. The third bedroom has a double bed (1.50m x 2.00m), the celing is somewhat lower,than other parts of the apartment and this room is accessed by a small staircase. This room comes with an en-suite bathroom with shower and its own living room. There is hardwood flooring throughout the property except for the bathrooms and kitchen, which are tiled. (Air conditioning available from April 1st 2013).
