"Very central and pleasant"
The apartment was exactly as advertised, though perhaps a bit smaller than it looked in the photos. Clean generally, though I did clean up a bit of the bathroom corners. There were no window views at all, but a tiny private courtyard was nice. Location was excellent for being central. There were a few ladies of the night in the vicinity as it was close to Sol, but that was never any problem.
The only difficulty was that the apartment was advertised as having an elevator, which it did, but there was still a short flight of about 12 steps to the apartment which we managed OK despite being old and decrepit.
Meetup at the apartment was mixed up. We were an hour and a half late into Madrid with a plane delay and called Miguel to tell him. Called again on arrival at the airport. Still, because he was travelling via metro, he was an hour late to the apartment and we couldn't contact him because of tunnels on the train line blocking the signal. This led to some anxiety.
Checkout was prompt and exactly as promised. Deposit was returned on the spot. No problems.
We enjoyed the apartment and it was good value for money.

"A very nice apartment"
The apartment we stayed in was very quiet, clean, and in a great location, just a few minutes walk from Gran Via metro station. The kitchen was fully equipped with fridge, microwave and so on. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone and will definitely book again on my next trip to Madrid.
