Between Tirso de Molina Metro and Anton Martín Metro Station, this apartment is well situated to get walking to the historical city centre and other tourist places.

Less than ten minutes walking are the most important museums as the Reina Sofía, Thyssen Bornemisza or the Prado. To enjoy the nightlife you can walk from the apartment to La Latina, a meeting point of all that want to enjoy “ir de tapas”. All through the little antique streets you will find cafés, bars, and restaurants.

Situated only 200 meters away from Atocha Train Station, not only the main train station in the city from which trains to well known cities such as Toledo and Salamanca leave, but also an emblematic place due to it's modernist architecture. It is also a very interesting site to visit, built in the 20´s and reformed recently into a huge winter garden in the middle of the city.

The Cohen building, like the entire street and the surrounding area, has kept the original exterior structure, giving guests a glimpse of Madrid´s architectural history. Located on the top floor, the apartment looks out over the decorative terraces that fill the street and down into the centre of town.

This 1 bedroom apartment has been tastefully decorated in soft peach and creamy white tones, which, along with the natural day light make this apartment a bright, fresh and relaxing space to unwind after wandering the streets of Madrid.

The combined lounge/dining room looks out over the street with floor to ceiling doors, opening out onto petite Juliet verandas giving guests a spectacular view. The minimalist and neat decor includes; dining table setting for 4, comfortable new sofa, plasma TV, DVD, bookshelf and other stylish furnishings.

The kitchen situated off the lounge/dining room is white tiled and fully equipped with washing machine, oven, microwave and all other cooking essentials.

The bedroom, located off the hallway, has a big double bed covered in soft suede, accompanied by side tables with delicate lantern style lamps and built-in cupboards for any storage.

A newly renovated bathroom, tiled in beige and white is also off the hallway and is complete with shower, basin, toilet, large mirror and for guests who love to soak after a long day there is also a bath.

Atocha is the zone surrounds Atocha train station located in the Public square of Emperor Carlos V, facing the station is The Reina Sofia Museum of Modern Art, Paseo del Prado or Paseo del Arte, Retiro park and Ronda de Atocha (where there are several cultural centers). In the area there are also a number of art galleries, restaurants and shops selling a range of curiosities.

The Reina Sofia Museum of Contemporary Art opens on Mondays, making it a good choice for a day when the other museums in the city are closed. The museum is one of the essential museums of the city. besides the temporary exhibition halls and the halls devoted to the permanent collection the museum houses one of Picasso's most important pieces “The Guernica”, as well as many other important works of contemporary artists.

If you are taking a taxi from the airport to the apartment, the general cost is between 25 – 35 euros and it will take around 30 minutes in normal traffic. Just ask the driver to take you to the address above. There are also buses and metro running from the airport in to Plaça de Colon.
