The location of this apartment is great, specially for those who come to Madrid for business. In the Jose Abascal area, and close to Paseo de la Castellana, one of the most important ways of Madrid and leads to Plaza de Castilla, the financial heart of the city.
It is close to the Gregorio Marañón metro stop, which offers easy access to the rest of the city. Another important place nearby is the Business School in Maria de Molina street, only some minutes away.
Staying in the Zurbano apartment means enjoying Madrid from a calm area, of high quality, with many stores, bars and restaurants around. Still, you can easily get to the main touristic places downtown such as Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and Gran Via, by metro.

From the entrance, you will feel very pleased, since the apartment is located in a very nice building with a beautiful garden.
The decoration is a remarkable feature of this apartment: tasteful but at the same time homey . The bedrooms are very sober, with white walls, to offer a relaxing atmosphere: the first one has a double bed and the second one has two single beds.
The kitchen is fully equipped and connected to the dinning room, prepared for 4 people. The living room is a very nice area, well illuminated, with a very comfortable sofa, from where you can watch TV or read a good book and relax.
If you are looking for a nice and comfortable place to spend your stay in Madrid, the Zurbano apartment is the place for you!
The Madrid region
The capital of Spain can be found in the heart of the peninsula and right in the centre of the Castillian plain.
With a population over three million, this cosmopolitan city is a wonderfully busy and vibrant place to live and visit. It is also a business centre, headquarters for the Public Administration, Government, Spanish Parliament and the home of the Spanish Royal Family. Madrid also is an important centre for both the banking and industrial sectors.
Madrid is characterised by a very lively nightlife and its busy cultural and artistic activity.
The Madrid City / Chamberi area
Chamberí is bordered on the North by the Cuatro Caminos roundabout and the Raimundo Fernandez de Villaverde street; On the East by the Paseo de la Castellana; In the South by the Plaza de Colon and the streets of Sagasta, Genova, Carranza and Alberto Aguilera; In the West by the streets of Princesa, Isaac Peral, Arcipreste de Hita and Juan XXIII.
Chamberí is a residential neighborhood. There are many university student residents in the area due to the proximity to the Ciudad Universitaria de Madrid. This has helped the development of the area.
The neighborhood has traditional markets such as the Abastos de Vallehermoso, Andrés Mellado, Chamberí and Alonso Cano markets. The Northern part of Chamberí has a number of top-line sports facilities open to the public.
Chamberí also has a new Cultural Complex called the Teatro de Canal which was inaugurated in November of 2008. It is located on the corner of Cea Bermudez and Bravo Murillo and consists of three buildings: a theater, an auditorium and a rehearsal complex.
The Teatro de Canal will be the headquarters of the Choir and Orchestra of the Comunidad of Madrid, the Dance Company de Madrid and the Choreography Institute of Madrid.

If you are taking a taxi from the airport to the apartment, the general cost is between 25 – 35 euros and it will take around 30 minutes in normal traffic. Just ask the driver to take you to the address above. There are also buses and metro running from the airport in to Plaça de Colon.
