A very trendy and high end apartment to let, an historical and old fashioned building, with modern commodities and lift in Madrid centre. This Charming one bedroom apartment, very well located between the famous districts of Malasaña and Chueca, everything at nearby, metro, walking, a great place to be in Madrid. It consists of a main bedroom with a double bed, a comfortable kitchen and a spacious living area includes a open dining room and a comfortable lounge with a sofa bed perfect for two adults, and a large bathroom with hydromassage shower.

Fuencarral is a bright and very quiet interior apartment just minutes away from all the interesting tourist attractions. Malasaña street itself is packed with great restaurants and bars as well as plenty of shops and places of historical interest.

Security Deposit:
at arrival, guests will be asked to pay a 200€ security deposit or 600€ for stays of more than 3 weeks as a guarantee for damages with credit card. This deposit will be refunded automatically 48 hours after the end of the stay.

Check In:
When you arrive to the apartment, a FSH team member will provide you with all of the relevant infomation about the property and its surrounding area. You will be asked to sign the rental contract and entry form, show your passport and your credit card and pay the security deposit. You will then be handed the keys to your new apartment in Madrid!

We ask all of our clients to follow our apartment checkin Policy:
• Checkin hours are between 3:00pm and 9:00pm.
• If you would like to checkin before 3:00pm we will do our utmost to acomódate yo. If an earlier Checkin is not posible, you are more than welcome to leave your luggage in the apartment, go out and begin exploring Madrid and return to the aprtment as of 3:00pm.
• If you would like to Checkin after 9:00pm and additional fee of 30€ will be charged until 11:00pm and Sundays; and any Checkins later that time will be charged 50€.

Conditions

Please smoke outside and please do not throw cigarette butts off the street or inside patios.

Check Out:
To ensure that everything goes smoothly, we kindly ask you to indicate your estimated time of departure beforehand sending us an email.

On the day of your Check Out, you must vacate the apartment before 11:00am. We kindly ask that you inspect the apartment before leaving, dispose of any garbage, and leave the keys on the living room table. Our cleaning team will arrive at 11:00am to clean and to review the apartment inventory.

If you would like to leave the apartment alter 11:00am we will do our utmost to acomódate your needs; however, it is vital that you inform us your plans in advance. If a late departure cannot be arranged, you are more than welcome to leave your packed luggage in the apartment and return to pick up befote 3:00pm.

The Madrid region

Madrid is the capital and largest city of Spain. It is the third-most populous municipality in the European Union after Greater London and Berlin, and its metropolitan area is the third-most populous city by urban area in the European Union after Paris and London.

The city is located on the river Manzanares in the centre of both the country and the Community of Madrid (which comprises the city of Madrid, its conurbation and extended suburbs and villages); this community is bordered by the autonomous communities of Castile and León and Castile-La Mancha. As the capital city of Spain, seat of government, and residence of the Spanish monarch, Madrid is also the political centre of Spain.

The Madrid City / Chueca-Malasana area

Malasaña is an area of Madrid famous for its trendy alternative scene. Centred around Plaza Dos de Mayo, it is reminiscent of Camden Town in London, the East Village in New York City, or Bairro Alto in Lisbon, although the layout is quite different and the emphasis is less on shops and more on bars.
Malasaña is to the west of Chueca and to the east of Argüelles. It was the center of the movida movement in late 1970s and 1980s Madrid.

Malasaña is a vibrant neighborhood full of lively bars and clubs overflowing with young people. Its streets are currently being renovated, making it a much more attractive quarter (the streetworks are almost finished). It's one of the classic areas for partying the night away.

The area's center is the Plaza del Dos de Mayo (in commemoration of a popular uprising on May 2, 1808, brutally repressed by the French troops and which started the Spanish Independence War). Although popularly known as barrio Malasaña, it is known by residents as Maravillas (Wonders), although its official name is Universidad (University). Malasaña is named after a 15-year old girl Manuela Malasaña who once lived on San Andrés street. She was executed by the French following the uprising in 1808. Today there is a street named in her honour very close to the roundabout Glorieta de Bilbao.

FROM THE AIRPORT : a 30 minutes journey in the subway that costs 2 euros per person. Take the 8 line to NUEVOS MINISTERIOS, then a short connection to 10 line and get off at TRIBUNAL station. Once there, take the exit to CALLE FUENCARRAL and walk two blocks until GLORIETA DE BILBAO, turn your left in the corner and walk a few meters.
