About this location

The Trentino-Alto Adige region

With 620km2 (over 153,000 acres) of nature, the Adamello Brenta Nature Park comprises, to the west, the Adamello-Presanella group and its majestic glaciers, roaring streams, spectacular waterfalls and beautiful lakes. To the east, the park embraces the spectacular Brenta Group, a recognized UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Between these two geologically different realms, we find a great many valleys, such as Val Genova, Val Brenta, Vallesinella and other pristine offshoots, each with their own, enthralling landscapes.

The park organizes a great many recreational and educational activities designed especially for kids, both tourists and residents of the area.

In summer in particular, nature holidays come into their own, with excursions, hikes, learning laboratories and other activities for the whole family and for nature lovers generally.

Madonna Di Campiglio

Skirama Dolomiti Adamello Brenta is one of the largest skiing ‘carousels’ (groups of associated ski areas) south of the Alps and comprises 8 popular ski areas of the Trentino region in the heart of the Dolomites Brenta Group.

During the summer through the Dolomiti di Brenta, the trails reach some of the most famous rifugi (chalets) – Rifugio Graffer, Rifugio Tuckett e Sella, Rifugio Brentei, Rifugio Alimonta, Rifugio Casinei, and Rifugio XII Apostoli – at the foot of majestic peaks. Hikes and start from the bottom of the valley or from higher up the mountain, thanks to the ski lifts that take you quickly to higher elevations.

"Very pleasant and well situated"

Our stay at Chalet dei Pini was very pleasant. Our unit was well appointed and conveniently situated close to the centre of town. A nearby staircase provided ski-in and ski-out capabilities. The Chalet was equipped with a Sauna and Steam Room which could be booked for private use from 16:00. Wireless Inernet was also provided, at no charge.

Overall, a very nice place to stay for a Ski vacation in Madonna di Campiglio
