Surrounded by beautiful countryside amidst the wooded slopes of the Dyfi Forest is this stone-built detached property, set on the edge of Aberllefenni village. This wonderful holiday home has been designed to offer a high standard of modern living and so provides very spacious and light accommodation. The property is ideal for large groups and boasts three sitting rooms, two dining areas, a games room and reading area, allowing all visitors to enjoy their own space. The large garden is also divided into separate sitting areas set against the wooded hillside views. The property is well-placed for all local amenities and activities.

The Powys / Brecon Beacons / Powys region

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. Snowdonia National Park, situated in North Wales, boasts breathtaking mountain scenery, crystal clear lakes and cascading waterfalls. Climb Snowdon, which at 1085m is Wales’ highest mountain, or travel to the summit in style on the charming Mountain Railway.

Alternatively, why not sample the beautiful green valley of Llangollen by steam train or from a leisurely horse-drawn canal boat. In July, the annual Llangollen Eisteddfod transforms the town into a unique centre of international music and dance, attracting musicians and singers from across the globe.You could also explore the beautiful coastline, safe sandy beaches and watersports of the Lleyn Peninsula, as well as Colwyn Bay, historic Conwy, Victorian Llandudno or the Isle of Anglesey on the north coast.

To the south, there’s the lovely Brecon Beacons National Park, a haven of rugged moorland, forests and mountains that’s just perfect for nature lovers and walkers. Finally, the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is renowned for its wildlife, stunning coastal scenery, superb beaches and as the home of Britain’s smallest city, the City of St David’s.


Machynlleth / ABERLLEFENNI area

Set on a national cycle route and the ancient Sarn Helen Walkway, the small village of Aberllefenni is situated amidst the wooded slopes of the beautiful Dyfi Forest and is close to the peaceful foothills of the Cader Idris mountain range. An excellent spot for outdoor enthusiasts, the area is ideal for mountain biking and canoeing.

Nearby, the picturesque town of Machynlleth - one the regional capitals of ancient Wales – provides numerous museums, a good variety of shops, restaurants and pubs. For those looking to spend their time on the beach, the lovely seaside town of Aberdovey is only 10 miles away. The narrow gauge railways at Corris and Tal-y-Llyn are also within easy driving distance whilst the Tal-y-Llyn Lake offers excellent fishing. Also in the area is King Arthur's Labyrinth Underground Adventure which makes a great day out for all the family.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
