If you struggle finding holidays and places to stay and then getting there and struggling with inadequate mobility aids or even finding there is none at all, then this is the place for you. I spent years doing just the same before I did this one
The chalet has a lettings certificate to accommodate six people maximum.
Please note this is strictly a no smoking chalet.
This California chalet is the largest on Mablethorpe chalet Park links Avenue Mablethorpe Lincolnshire LN12 1QN.
Although listed as disabled this is not solely for the use of disabled and can be used by able-bodied persons as well.
Parking for your car is straight outside the chalet.
This chalet has electric fan heaters for warmth in each room.
This is a nice open plan modern chalet with laminated floors throughout.
Access is through double French doors via a concrete ramp straight into the open plan lounge .
This wheelchair accessible chalet has two bedrooms.
One with bunk beds with a flatscreen TV/DVD player (please note the TV in the bunk bed room only plays DVDs for the kids for when the great British weather is playing up! This has no Ariel). It now has a double door wardrobe with a chest of drawers.
One with a double Craftmatic electric bed (please note the bed has now changed position so you can access this bed from both sides and walk all the way around it, please see updated photograph with a low-level wardrobe). This room has a flatscreen TV/DVD player, which has Freeview it now has a low-level double wardrobe so you can reach in a wheelchair.
The Lounge is open plan and has a sofa that doubles as a double sofa bed. (Please note the sofa bed is not intended for wheelchair users or people with restricted mobility as it is quite low) also has a drop leaf dining table and six chairs with a flatscreen TV, which has Freeview and DVD player.
There is also a manual electric hoist with spare battery for your convenience. (please bring your own sling)
The lounge/bathroom and master bedroom with electric bed are accessible by wheelchair.
The bathroom is fully wheelchair accessible with wheel in shower, self-propelled shower chair/commode standing frame and raised toilet seat provided (please note there are no hand/grab rails for use with the WC at the moment).
The floor is laminated but 100% waterproof, please be careful not to slip. Bathroom/shower room has wall-to-wall shower boards for cleanliness, giving it a nice clean feel.
The kitchen has an electric cooker microwave kettle fridge with ice box toaster, pots and pans, cutlery etc.
There is an iron and ironing board, vacuum, mop and bucket.
The Park is very wheelchair and dog friendly with the shops/cafe and tavern all being accessible by wheelchair.
The local area is all wheelchair friendly with dogs being allowed almost everywhere even in the park tavern. Sadly Dobermans German shepherds pitbull terriers and Rottweiler's are not allowed on the site.
There is no extra charge for pets.
If you walk straight out of the Park across the road and up over the grass bank this is the dog walking beach.
If you park in the town i.e. next to the Beck restaurant across the road you can walk left to the dog walking beach all right to another section for dog walking further down.
Please leave the chalet tidy for the next holiday makers.
Please treat the chalet as you would your home thank you.
On completion of your holiday could you please empty the bin, turn off the electric for the water and vacate the chalet by 12 noon on the last day, this enables the chalet to be cleaned ready for the next occupants.

There is a telephone kiosk situated on the site between the shop and the public toilets.
The Park is a 15 min or 25 min leisurely walk to the local town which has amusements/arcades gift shops etc and plenty of cafes and restaurants. Also it is Just 10 min walk from the award winning golden sands blue flag beach, and fair etc, or if you struggle to walk there is a bus every 30 min from the end of the Park entrance, or if you have kids you can take the fun road train which also runs around every 30 mins. and takes you from one end of the beach to the other. The chalet park has a Shop - Chippy / Cafe - Laundry Room - Arcade - 3 x Kids Play Areas - Ball Playing Area and a very good Club House (the tavern) Pool Tables and games room and it also has good food and entertainment. All of this is just yards from the chalet itself.
The tavern is open every night and has live entertainment at the weekends it is a very family orientated Park.
No passes are required for this site.
This is a lively site during school holidays, but quiet and relaxing when the children are back at school.
I will supply duvets pillows and waterproof mattress protectors, all you need to bring are duvet covers/sheets/pillowcases/towels/teatowels and toothbrush.
All prices are per week and include electric.
Please note I am unable to rent to large same-sex groups or persons under the age of 18 years.
We cannot let for weekends, only Saturday to Saturday during the high season, but will let Monday to Friday low season only.
The Heart of England / Peak District / Lincolnshire region
Lincolnshire has a variety of attractions that will suit almost everyone. These include farm parks, animal sanctuaries, the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre, the beautiful Lincoln Cathedral and of course Burghley House where Pride & Prejudice was filmed.
Lincolnshire is a perfect cycling and walking holiday destination.
The Mablethorpe area
Mablethorpe is a great town for seaside holidays on the Lincolnshire Coast. The sandy beaches have once again been awarded with a blue flag. With more than four miles of unbroken coast line, Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea offer something for everyone.
There are also beach huts available for hire along the coast. The world famous Bathing Beauties Festival takes place every September in Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea.
From fish and chips to restaurant dining, you will find everything in Mablethorpe with a choice of pub grub, indian, chinese and italian.
There's plenty of activities and entertainment available, including Loewen 2 screen, Dolby Digital 3D Cinema, an entertainment complex, bingo, pub entertainment, horse riding and much more.
I also have an able-bodied chalet on this site and a disabled caravan 10 min from Withernsea if needed please don't hesitate to enquire. Both of which can be booked by able-bodied people and both accept well-behaved dogs, parking again is straight outside each property. R
