"A very comfortable cottage, ideal base for exploring a new area."

A very well equipped cottage in a quiet area, parking space provided. Spacious kitchen / diner, well provided with crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment. Comfortable and relaxing lounge area. Bedrooms with plenty of storage. Personal welcome with helpful advice on shopping, where to eat, what to visit.

"Perfect location, an oasis from Blackpool!"

We wanted to visit our son in Blackpool and had no idea where to stay. We were told that Lytham would be a suitable location and this proved to be the case. Tony and Margaret were very helpful and gave us all the information we needed. The property is walking distance to the train station and buses, shops and restaurants. It was clean and well equipped. Very comfortable double bedroom. We found the Tap in Henry Street, a proper pub. We walked to Blackpool, took about 4 hours to reach the tower. Lovely sandy beach and unspoilt a lot of the way. Lytham is a delight to visit, very unspoilt. We would loved to have stayed longer.

Glad you loved Lytham so much. It is a lovely place to stay yet in easy reach of all the Blackpool shows, illuminations etc. Glad you were happy both with our service and the cottage.

"Nice clean property with everything you need, even tea & coffee provided on arrival."

Ideal base for touring around north west, we got to Liverpool for the Beatles experience, the lower Lakes and the Settle Carlisle railway.

Glad you were thrilled with the property and gave full marks in all categories. Hope to see you again soon. Kind regards.

"Comfortable cottage with all amenities and great location."

Although we are now retired and have lived in Canada for many years, my wife and I enjoy returning to England for a visit every year. We have stayed in the Lytham holiday cottage 5 times now and never get tired of our stay in the cottage. The cottage has everything one would need for a self-catering holiday, and with pubs and restaurants just a walk away from the quiet neighbourhood, its an ideal place to relax. The villages and countryside of the Fylde are an easy drive away, with good access to larger cities such as Liverpool, Southport, Manchester and Preston for excellent shopping and other points of interest. The wonderful hosts, Tony and Margaret, make sure that everything is spick and span, and are only a phone call away should there be any questions. We will be back next year for another dose of Lancashire hospitality!! Bill & Fiona

We are glad you have enjoyed all 5 visits to our cottages and look forward to your 6th visit next year. Thanking you very much. We much appreciate your loyalty.

Clean house with everything what you need, above standard equipped {jacuzzi] like normal house to live, pleasant house lady, suitable for family. Only positive things. If something negative - small garden with flowerpots, in my opinion not quite suitable for small kids games esp. with ball. We felt very pleasant there. I hope we will be there in autumn again.

Glad you and your family were happy and comfortable in the cottage and wish to return. Many of the cottages in Lytham, particularly the older ones have no gardens at all and the beauty of ours is that the children can also play safely in the gardens at the front of the property without the danger of passing traffic. Look forward to seeing you soon.

"Clean and well equipped"

Very nice house with friendly and helpful owners.Everything you need for your stay is provided and only a short walk into Lytham. The town center has lots of independent shops and is a pleasure to visit.Lots to see and do on your doorstep.

"Warm homely property, perfect for Christmas."

We arrived in dreadful "English weather" for Christmas in Lytham. The house was warm & welcoming with a tastefully decorated Christmas tree. Lytham has a vibrant "Café Culture" with a quirky selection of independent shops & restaurants. The house is perfectly located to take advantage of all the local facilities. I would recommend this property for a couple or small family group.

Thanks for positive feedback and for booking your Christmas break with us again for 2014.

"Cosy Comfortable and reasonably Central"

A well appointed cottage, 5/8 minutes from the Windmill. 10minutes from a brilliant super market and cross over Station Road and Lytham is in front of you. We were there at Christmas and a delightful Christmas Tree greeted us in the lounge. Friendly helpful owner. Great holiday all round. Would go again if circumstance should allow.

Thank you very much for your very positive review. It is of course the great advantage of this quiet location that enables both the Private Parking space and further unrestricted on street parking for extra vehicles, which does become a challenge any nearer to the town centre.

"home from home"

7th time we have stayed here says it all - Home from Home All mod cons; central heating plus gasfire, fridge freezer, oven and hob ,dish and clothes washing machines . adjacent car parking Shop at top of road (3 minute walk) sells all necessities Bus stop at top of road enables direct access to Preston , Blackpool, St Annes, Clevelys

We are very happy you keep returning to our cottage and recommend your friends also from abroad. Look forward to seeing you in Oct 2014.
