"Sur les pas de Ravel" is a beautiful Normandy house facing the famous timbered building which Ravel occupied when he came to Lyons-la-Foret. This large house has a cozy feel and is ideal for couples, large families or several families alike for 7 nights or short breaks (minimum 3 nights) throughout the year. A few minutes walk from the very centre of the village, where there are several restaurants and bars, the house comprises a master bedroom with bathroom, a second double bedroom and a shower room, a games room with pool table, darts and card table. The games room can easily be converted into another bedroom with the use of an electric inflatable double mattress. There is a lounge with wood burning fire, dining room and fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, oven and microwave. The fridge is stocked with refreshments for your arrival. There is plenty of parking in front of the house. The rooms downstairs lead onto a pretty paved enclosed courtyard. The house has free wifi throughout and a television in both the lounge and the master bedroom, along with a CD/Radio player. This is a non smoking house sleeping a maximum of 6 adults and animals are not permitted.

The house dates from the end of 19th century. Formerly a coaching inn, it is set against the boundary walls of the castle (previously occupied by Richard the Lion Heart and William the Conqueror's son, Henri). During the Second World War, it became the headquarters of the German Commandant until the liberation, when it became the headquarters of the French Army.
