The fantastic sandy beaches and hidden coves will entice you to explore, while dramatic coastlines and rugged uplands will take your breath away. Our award winning local food and drink will tempt you and our family activities and great days out will keep you entertained from dawn to dusk.
Our Lynton cottages are on the northern edge of Exmoor National Park. Lynton is a small town in Devon above the Lynmouth gorge. It is a spectacular region as are our Lynton cottages. The water-powered cliff railway runs from Lynton down 600 feet to beautiful Lynmouth using a counter-balance system where one car descends as the other ascends. It is an amazing feat of Victorian engineering. There is an impressive town hall where exhibitions take place as well as a village cinema and monthly farmers market. Explore the North Devon coast and visit the breathtaking Valley of Rocks two miles to the west. Book a self-catering holiday home in Lynton and experience its natural beauty first hand.
