Sea Glass is available from 3 pm on the day of arrival and guests are requested to vacate by 10 am on day of departure. 20% deposit with the remaining balance payable six weeks before the start of the holiday.

Devon is one of England's largest counties and has an beautiful mix of moorland, wooded valleys, sweeping beaches and hidden coves. The area has a rich and varied history with many places of interest to discover including picturesque unspoilt villages with thatched cottages and cobbled streets as well as grander stately homes and castles.
The county is also renowed for its abundant wildlife, with 210 sites of special scientific interest, two national parks and many nature reserves to explore and enjoy.
The Lynton area
Lynton lies on the North coast of Devon surrounded by the spectacular natural beauty of Exmoor National Park. The Victorians called this area the 'Switzerland of England' surrounded as it is by wooded valleys and dramatic scenery.
The Valley of the Rocks with breathtaking views of the rugged Exmoor coastline is within walking distance of the apartment. Lynton has a good variety of interesting shops to browse and many places to stop for a bite to eat with a selection of pubs, restaurants and tearooms. The cliff railway is a five minute stroll from the apartment and from here you can descend to the picturesque historic harbour and beach of Lynmouth. The popular sandy beaches of Woolacombe with a variety of watersports are 30 minutes drive away. Golf nearby at Ilfracombe.

Directions to Sea Glass, turn off M5 at junction 27, take the north Devon link road A361. Turn right at Accer Cross roundabout onto the A399 marked 'holiday route to Woolacombe'. At Blackmore gate turn right towards Lynton/Lynmouth on the A39, turn left up Station Hill towards Lynton. Follow the road towards Lynton Town Hall, take second right into Burvill Street by the Post Office. After 100 yards, Jubilee Court is on the left hand side. Designated parking space number 7.

Everything about our stay at this apartment was perfect from the friendly and helpful owner to the great apartment itself. Exceptionally well equipped and comfortable, very stylishly fitted out, nice and clean and very central to all that lovely Lynton and the surrounding area has to offer. One hopefully handy tip for those of you that live and die by contact with the outside world on your mobile is to make sure you have Orange or O2 connections as Vodaphone doesn't seem to work along the entire coast line. We are with Vodaphone but actually enjoyed the peace of no connection! We had some great meals locally and stunning walks, especially the coastal path and the Valley of the Rocks, all more or less on the doorsetp of the apartment. We found all the locals (inn keepers!) to be very friendly. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this and very much hope to go back again. |
