Skylarks is a beautifully restored, 18th Century listed beamed one bedroomed holiday apartment located just a few steps from the High Street in Lymington. Originally a Bakery it is situated above Lymington Photographic Shop and Gallery, totally self-contained, it sleeps 4. It has a superking size bed and a double sofa bed with sprung mattress. Skylarks has a flat screen freeview tv/dvd, free wifi connectivity, microwave, fridge, hob, shower room and linen and towels are provided free of charge.

Skylarks is fantastically situated, just a few steps from the Quay and the abundance of restaurants and shops in Lymington High Street, yet still manages to retain an air of peace and quiet.

Lymington Photographic Shop and Skylarks are owned by Kris and Dave Thompson.

Lymington is the perfect place to explore the New Forest and Skylarks is ideal for holidaymakers or business people alike. If you would like advice on where to visit to find birds or take photographs, you can ask Dave in the shop below as he is a Wildlife Photographer himself!

There is free parking by use of a supplied parking clock, the nearest car park is just 25 yards from the apartment and the parking clock will cover you for parking many of the car parks in the area including Milford-on-Sea, Calshot, Barton-on-Sea and many more.

Lymington is a beautiful town with cobbled streets to the Quay, 3 marinas and a beautiful nature reserve. It is situated just outside the New Forest National Park with it abundance of wildlife. It is ideal for both ramblers and for those of us who enjoy restaurants and shopping! Lymington is ideally situated close to the New Forest yet also within easy reach of the beautiful beaches of the South Coast. Lymington also has a ferry to the Isle of Wight.

Local places of interest include Beaulieu Motor Museum, The New Forest is just 5 minutes drive away and Milford, Highcliffe and Southbourne beaches are easily accessible by car or bus.

And remember - Skylarks is just a few yards from the High Street !

"Comfortable and ideal location"

This apartment is situated just off the main street in a quiet spot. It is well furnished and more than adequate for a couple ( not sure about 4 people). Ideal base for exploring the local area and 5 to 10 minute walk from the station.

"compact,clean and convenient"

Nice quiet location set in middle of town near harbour and shops etc etc.Easy parking via badge scheme provided by owners.Bed(s) comfortable and kitchen neat and sufficient for holidays.

"Central Location and Nice Accommodation"

I stayed two weeks in Skylarks. I'm American and had never rented before in England. The process was easy and the owner was very accommodating when I made the arrangements. Very easy to pick up the key and always access to assistance if necessary. This apartment is on the top floor, so you need to be able to make it up and down a flight of stairs. It is well layed out and has all amenities. Very well kept and great wifi access for free. I was vacationing without a car so location to the town and transport was important for me. The location in this regard is excellent as you are just off the High Street near the old quay. Walk to the train, bus or town with no problem. I also walked to the ferry which was about 15 minutes. The area was relatively quiet being in a mews but still near everything. There is a walk through that goes to the High Street on one end and parking on the other. So you do have people walking past below sometimes. All was quiet evenings though and most of the time I was out in the day. Also since you are at the upstairs level it is really not an issue. If you have a car the parking is very near then also. I found this accommodation quite comfortable, private and a great location if you are walking or using public transportation. This is not the type of accommodation you search out if you want a 'view' or are looking to be in a suburban or country setting. That should go without saying but worth mentioning. Definitely as advertised. Had a fine stay.

"Fantastic flat comfortable and convenient"

We have stayed at Skylarks twice now. We love the flat , it is just off the main street in Lymington. All facilities are great, comfy bed and sofa. Quiet.Free parking permit an added bonus since can be used throughout the whole area. Intend staying again next year.
