The Hampshire region
Kelston holiday home is located on the edge of the tranquil village of Milford on Sea, near Lymington in Hampshire. "basic for the price"
Advised not to use one of two showers, with a party of eight adults is very inconvenient. We were told that the supply of hot water for the useable shower once exhausted , we would need to allow time f… More
This is one groups opinion and does not fit with the others that have commented. Regarding the shower supply of hot water it has always been found to be plentiful unless everybody is going to spend half an hour in it.The shower is a power shower with a deluge of water. I don't think that the guests would have been told not to use the shower over the bath but maybe advised as to its suitability for showering as opposed to the power shower. The other shower is over the bath and is more suitable for washing your hair than taking a proper shower. The beds are no more than 5 years old and are only used part time so they are hardly worn out. The cooker is 2 years old and we found that the control knob had been broken by turning it anti clockwise. This is now fixed with a new one.. The central heating does need some overhaul with the replacement of the thermostatic valves. These will be replaced. The kitchen is not new but it is more than adequate. I am not sure which panels are broken but when we discover this they will be fixed. It is also fair to say that none of the aforementioned problems were brought to our attention whilst the guests were in residence except for the central heating problem which we are aware of. The heating does work but when the temperature is warm some do not shut off completely.
