"Fantastic accommodation"

Had a fantastic weekend break. Accommodation spotless and Joy provided us with walking suggestions which we undertook over the weekend. Joy made us feel at home as soon as we had arrived and a special mention regarding the breakfast basket which was a great idea and set us up nicely for the day.
The weather helped make it a special weekend so thank you again Joy for the warm welcome, lovely accommodation and weather (well 2 out of 3 Joy, not sure you can influence the weather as well....).

Thank you for taking the time to write such lovely lines.

The weather this September was fantastic and it's still holding dry here at the start of October.

I am so pleased our guests enjoyed the breakfast basket and refreshments provided for every stay - ample for the duration of how ever long you visit.

Many thanks.

"Fantastic place to stay and a wonderful welcome"

Wanted somewhere top of the range and this certainly hit the spot. What a fantastic place to stay, all mod cons a lovely comfortable bed and a kitchen very well equipped for a top chef! Joy is lovely and the breakfast package kept us fed for the week (the bread was exceptionally good). Thanks Joy. We will be back.

How very very kind of you to write such lovely lines.

I am delighted our guests enjoyed their stay to our Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

"Impeccable Accommodation For A Truly Romantic Retreat"

Acorns is without doubt the finest holiday accommodation that we have ever stayed in.

There is not one thing that could have made our stay better. The cottage is beautifully presented and feels fresh, cosy and perfect for a romantic get-away.

The attention to detail is exceptional, to name but a few things; the wonderful breakfast hamper, ice cubes in the freezer, the amazing quoter tap (we've never drunk so much tea!) and a wonderful large bath tub for a long soak after a long day!

Joy has truly gone above and beyond and she deserves every award and future award she wins! We were sad to say goodbye but have already begun planning for our next visit (one of many to come!) We could not recommend Joy and Acorns more highly!!

And very welcome you both will be!

"absolutely fabulous!"

we stayed at acorns for 4 nights at the end of august.
this accommodation is wonderful in every way - a real home from home - not that small and perfectly formed!
Joy has thought of everything that you may require and has equipped and furnished the whole apartment to a very high standard.
positioned close to lots of nice places to visit but far enough away from the madding crowds was just right for us.
thanks Joy - we will see you again sometime soon.

Thank you so much for your lovely words.

I loved the card you left for me - it was very thoughtful.

It would be a pleasure to see you both again some day.

"It was like staying in a suite at a 5* hotel!"

When we arrived, Joy greeted us warmly, and showed us round the accommodation - it was wonderful! Everything was immaculately clean, pristine, in fact, and all the appliances and fitments were of the highest quality. I really liked the fact that Joy had thought of everything . . . . lovely tea bags, real coffee, olive oil, herbs, spices, butter, millk, even a loaf of home made bread and some home made muesli - delicious! Dressing gowns and slippers were even provided - such luxury!

It is so pleasing when guests enjoy their stay here and find everything to their satisfaction.

There is always so much going on in this immediate area - this weekend there is a food festival and a music festival!

Hurry up and come back!

"Home from home"

We have stayed here before and a return visit is the best recommendation we could give. We were both on separate courses at River Cottage HQ on successive days and Hedgehog Corner is ideally placed for that. It is really well equipped and in some not very summery weather, the person not on the course that day had a comfortable home in which to relax.

What a delight to welcome return visitors and read your kind and generous comments.

What a busy week with courses at River Cottage. You certainly made the best of it and I look forward to seeing you again one day.

So very kind of you to write a review.

"Perfect; Hedgehog Corner sets the bar high for standards in holiday accommodation."

The Acorns Apartment was clean, well maintained and superbly furnished. Fine attention to detail in the form of convenient parking, free wi-fi, slippers, scented soaps, breakfast basket full of goodies, lovely bathroom, picnic rug, cool bag, torch and high visibility jackets for the walk to the pub made this a truly relaxing break for us. The Hedgehog Corner website description of the property is fair and accurate. A credit to the tourist industry.

Thank you so much.

Your words mean so much - it really does help me continue to do my best for my guests - who chose to spend their holiday time here and in this exciting part of the world where there is just so much to see,do and eat!

I'm so glad our guests enjoyed their visit.

"Fantastic perfection."

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Hedgehog Corner, a great place to stay, in lovely surroundings, close to Axminster, Lyme Regis, and lots of other places and attractions to visit.
This was our 1st time staying in 'Acorns'. A lovely apartment, very clean, modern, and spacious, so well equipped, everything you could possibly need is supplied, a very nice 'breakfast basket including eggs milk and butter.'
Joy is a great hostess and always so helpful. Thanks Joy, we will be back.

Thank you so much for visiting us for a 3rd time! So glad you like our new Apartment and you enjoyed the Breakfast Basket.

It was lovely to see you again and catch up on events.

Enjoy the Steam Fair!

"A truly wonderful place to stay!"

My husband and I stayed at Acorns in June and we had an absolutely lovely time. The apartment was immaculate and full of latest mod cons. We both had the most peaceful sleep in a very cosy bed. Joy was soo friendly and helpful, she went out of her way to purchase a bottle of champagne for me to give my husband as a surprise, which we drank outside while admiring the beautiful gardens. She also went to special effort to check us in early, as we needed to be at River Cottage for an event at 11am that day. I would also totally recommend the breakfast basket, it was full of luxury goods, freshly baked bread (baked by Joy that day!), cereals, jams and juices. I would highly recommend staying at Acorns and we hope we can visit again soon!

So glad these guests had such a happy stay and it all went well on such a special occasion for the couple.

What a wonderful summer we are all having - here's to many more!
