The beautiful secluded 3 bedromed property is set amidst its own large grounds in a secret valley overlooking woodland and the sea. The property was built as a gamekeepers cottage circa 1840 and is perfect for those looking for total seclusion and peace but is still close to all the amenites of West Dorset and East Devon.
Outside relax in the cottage garden - perfect place to sit on a summer evening with a glass of wine enjoying the lovely scenery beyond. Sporting amenities include sea fishing, lakes for trout and course fishing, sailing, golf, bowls and games for children. Riding stables are available locally and we can even arrange livery for your own horse on our own farm. Boat storage is also available on our own farm nearby.
Lyme Regis / Pinhay Estate area
Lynch Cottage is located in the private Pinhay Estate, just five minutes from the town of Lyme Regis. The views are stunning and there are wonderful walks including the famous Jurassic coastal path nearby (it may at times be possible to access a small beach , weather and conditions permitting.)
How to get there
From London area (approx 3 hours) M25 ,A303 past Stonehenge Left onto the A356 to Crewkerne (B3156) Continue on the B3156 sign posted Lyme Regis.
Coming from the North or Wales M5 South until Junction 25 Take A358 direction Ilminster/Chard. After Chard go to Axminster A358 to Musbury. At T Junction with A3052 turn left uphill towards Lyme Regis

Further details indoors: Lynch cottage is fully centrally heated (included in the price), plus an open fire and log burner. Downstairs the hall leads into the sitting room with open fire, 33inch flatscreen tv with DVD and comfortable sofas etc., and wonderful views overlooking the sea.
The hall also opens into the dining room, also with sea views which has a dining table that seats 6 people, high chair and a lovely log burner for cosy evenings!
A downstairs shower room if off the hall complete with a wc, shower and washbasin.
The newly fitted and very well equipped kitchen has a Rangemaster cooker, ,microwave, fridge, dishwasher. Across the courtyard to the rear of the kitchen there is a huge utility room with a washing machine, boiler, and very large freezer – also useful for wet country boots and coats!!!
Upstairs – the stairs from the hall lead to a family bathroom with a new white suite, shower, bath and wc. There are three large bedrooms, one has two single beds, one has a zip and link kingsize bed (which may be split into two singles) and the third has a kingsize bed. There is hanging space a washbasin in each bedroom. Two bedrooms have a view over the woodland and sea beyond.
Wooden cot available free of charge.
Further details outdoors: Outside there is ample parking for at least 4 cars , a wonderful cottage garden with patio, bbq and garden furniture.
The cottage is approached down a long private pretty woodland drive leading only to Lynch cottage.
