We were delighted with this holiday accomodation, it was very spacious, comfortable and clean and very well stocked with everything you would need whilst on holiday. We booked this holiday with our daughter and son in law and their 4 children (one just a baby) so all the rooms having their own bathroom was a bonus and the large triple room for the kids was great with plenty of storage for us all. The views from every window were fantastic and the kids loved watching the sheep in the next field. The village is beautiful with some stunning properties to admire and there is a pub that does food to either eat in or take away about 100 yards up the road.which we used on a couple of occassions and was very reasonable (and child friendly). The village is very quiet and the cottage is off the road so no traffic noise.. We spent our time on the beach at Charmouth and Lyme Regis (2 and 5 miles away) and the kids had a great day at the farm and soft play at Abbotsbury (great for a wet day) and also at the Swannery where they could feed the swans. All in all, this is a lovely property, in a beautiful location, in a stunning area and we look forward to returning again soon. |

We spent new years eve at the hayloft. We were three couples and had a fabulous time. the barn was clean, well equipped and close enough to towns and ammenities to keep us all happy. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped for a rental property and we cooked a fabulous meal to ring in the new year. Each of us had our own bathroom which made it easy to spend a week together. The pub down the road was convenient. A decent place for a quiet pint. The restuarants in Chideock were good. |
