Villa Panoramique KYR Located on the slope of one of the hills of Lurin, KYR welcomes you at the entrance with a refreshing water wall. From the outset, the villa invites you to a quiet stay. Nothing excessive or extreme in this property but an undeniable charm is felt everywhere. Inch by inch you discover the numerous details that make this house a home where one realizes that owners have chosen carefully, with love, each piece of decor. A border of dark gray pebbles, a natural stone wall and a trusteeship Buddha give the general tone of this villa which, gradually, adopts you, as you take it yourself. This is one of these residence which as a person improves on acquaintance.White walls, stone or wood floors, a unit, a simplicity that is underlined by ingenious color keys various blue for cushions, red for the painting of the rose on the stairs leading to the second level. This red is included too in the 3 smaller paintings of the same rose on the wall behind the bar. The partially red bar stools also integrate well. Scattered throughout the villa, large stalks of big lacquered bamboo, white, green and black, bring an exotic note. Two large pictures of dried philodendron complement the decor. Everywhere, plants, palms, coconuts,... in large dark grey vases recall the original vegetation of the island.It is at the same time modern in terms of comfort, clever in the wellthought layout of the various spaces, simple by the choice of materials and original in the decoration. The lounge dining room opens onto the deck and swimming pool, and leads to a panoramic view of the sea. Two large rooms with outdoor bath surround the comfortable living. The whole offers a broad panorama on the Atlantic Ocean and a farther view on Sint Maarten island. Located on the lower level, the two bungalows for guests are independent, as each of them has a private bathroom and deck. KYR shows the warm, intimate atmosphere of a villa of charm, a home that will become yours before you are aware of having adopted it.Please note this villa has no breakdown rates over Thanksgiving, the villa rents at the list price.

The Leeward region

St Barts, known as Saint Barthelemy officially and simply as Saint-Barth to the locals, is eight square miles of paradise in the north eastern corner of the Caribbean arc. Not far from either St Kitts or Anguilla, both of which can be seen on the horizon.

Lurin is a hillside area to the east of Gustavia, St Barts capital city and boasts magnificent views.Not being far from Gustavia, it afford access via the back route which avoids the busy high season traffic coming in on the main road.It is close to Gouverneur and its famous beach as well as the ever popular Saline beach
