The village of Culmington is close to the market town of Ludlow, amongst the countryside of the Welsh Marches. Ludlow boasts nearly 500 listed buildings, and provides a backdrop for the town's regular street markets, held in the shadow of the castle and showcasing a range of goods. Ludlow is renowned for its shopping, and has more Michelin-starred restaurants than anywhere outside of London, as well as numerous tea-shops, pubs and inns.
