There is no better town centre location in Ludlow than Quality Square where this lovely Georgian house retains all the charm and character of its original period building, whilst combining a modern and sophisticated style. There are two contemporary and well-designed shower rooms and a modren fitted kitchen and eating area with an open-plan living room where the furnishings and decorations blend together well with traditional antiques being placed alongside more contemporary paintings and other stylish objects, the whole house offers a truly comfortable and homely feeling in all the rooms.
The accommodation, which is over 3 upper floors, has the open-plan living, dining and kitchen space on the first floor, with a tall sash window and window seat, which directly overlooks the charming, lovely cobbled square in which the house is situated. There is a separate guest w.c. on this floor and the main double bedroom, with en-suite shower, as well as the separate family shower room is situated on the floor above. The further twin-bedded room occupies the third floor, with lovely views looking out towards the Welsh Marches.
Immediately outside the property are some of Ludlow's most popular eating places, providing the area with a very continental character particularly in the warmer weather when cafe tables are placed around the sides of Quality Square with large umbrellas, perfect for summers evening eating and drinking. The total ambience provides a charming combination of style and comfort and offers an ideal place for any discerning travellers, being a perfect central location to walk out from and go to see the medieval sights offered in the town or to sample and enjoy some of Ludlows famous gourmet delights, whether you are wishing to stay for a week or just a few days. Due to the accommodation being placed over 4 levels it is regrettably not considered suitable for the disabled, very elderly or very young children.

Whilst there is parking available for the residents in Quality Square the car parking space is very limited and the narrow archway has restricted access so only smaller vehicles can enter. Visitors Parking Permits are also available and just a few minutes walk away is Castle Square a large public car park with NO overnight charges. The house is in the centre of a medieval cobbled courtyard known as Quality Square which is a truly charming and central location for exploring all of the sights and reknown gourmet delights of this thriving market town with some of the local cafes are right on the doorstep with al-fresco dining in the Summer. months

The Heart of England/Peak District
Ludlow and its castle are perched on a cliff above the picturesque River Teme in south Shropshire. It is surrounded by the beautiful and unspoiled countryside of the Welsh Marches. The castle is within walking distance of the property.
The 900 year old Norman planned town breathes history at every turn, and it has fascinating architecture with its castle, church, medieval and Georgian buildings.
The lively and unspoilt market town, with its independent shops, holds regular traditional street markets on Castle Square on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays, with additional summer Wednesday markets from April to September.
Ludlow is well-known for its wide variety of wonderful cafes, restaurants, pubs and specialist food shops. Many of these are within just a few minutes walking distance - and some can even be found right on the doorstep of Ivy House, in Quality Square.
There are many festivals and events all year round most of which also celebrate Ludlow's passion for food. Also, many specialist food shops are located within walking distance of the property.
Ludlow is also well known for its horse race courses which take place regularly throughout the year and which make for an ideal outing.
