About the home

The Casa Patrizia apartment, south-facing and sunny. Newly renovated with all the modern conveniences and still keeping the traditional charm of chestnut beamed ceilings and hand-made terra cotta floor tiles.

There is a canopy queen-size double bed, 2 bathrooms with a shared hydro-massage shower room, double sofabed for 2 extra guests. Open plan in design, there is a full "cooks" kitchen with 4-burner gas stove and oven, dishwasher, microwave and clothes washer and living area with sofa and flat TV with English language channels, DVD and CD player, complete with a selection of Puccini operas.

The coastline of Tuscany stretches for 250 Km and includes some of the most beautiful beaches of the world.
Forte dei Marmi, and Viareggio in the north, are two of the most trendy locations for summer holidays rich in restaurants, pubs, theatres and discos.

Castiglione della Pescaia ,and Talamone in the southern part, are unique spots well-preserved characterized by marvellous medieval villages overlooking the sea.

The Lucca area

If you haven't visited the Lucca area, you will find it to be a pleasant surprise. There is biking and walking on the road at the top of the Renaissance wall that surrounds the city. There are classical music and Puccini concerts in the church of San Giovanni Battista (around the corner from the Cathedral of San Martino) , every evening , featuring works of Mozart, Puccini, Verdi and other Italian composers (All of this, because it is the birthplace of opera composer, Giacomo Puccini).

July brings the Lucca music festival with the famous stars such as Sheryl Crow, Alisha Keyes, Nora Jones, Elton John, to name a few, and of course, more Puccini opera amphitheatre.
