The Tuscany region

The entire world knows the beauty of Tuscany; its ancient splendour and modern charm attract the greatest number of tourists.

From the largest cities like Florence, to tiny borgos nestled into the mountains, secluded marinas, sandy beaches, rolling country sides and marvellous hilltop towns with striking views on the unique landscapes, that made of this region the hankering of visitors from all over the world since the time of Michelangelo and Raffaello, Machiavelli and Dante!

The all region is sprinkled with splendid spots for all tastes and moods! The well-known southern part of Tuscany with its colourful hilly countryside is the perfect place where relax your body and invigorate your soul..

Treat yourself in Siena, Montepulciano, Montalcino, enjoying the intact landscapes, and tasting some of the most delicious regional products.

Coming up towards the splendid Firenze you will be enchanted by the majesty of this town and its surroundings.

In Tuscany, every place has a hidden treasure to show you!

Moving north-west in the panhandle which divides Tuscany from Liguria, the charming town of Lucca, with its 16th century intact city walls, and Pisa with the astonishing leaning tower, or Volterra , famous Etruscan town, are a must. They contain some of the Italy’s most interesting museums and artistic treasures.

The coastline of Tuscany stretches for 250 Km and includes some of the most beautiful beaches of the world.

Forte dei Marmi, and Viareggio in the north, are two of the most trendy locations for summer holidays rich in restaurants, pubs, theatres and discos.

Castiglione della Pescaia ,and Talamone in the southern part, are unique spots well-preserved characterized by marvellous medieval villages overlooking the sea.

Tuscany is a sophisticated mix of exquisite art and natural beauty! It will capture you senses with its colours, sounds and tastes.

Lucca

If you haven't visited the Lucca area, you will find it to be a pleasant surprise. There is biking and walking on the road at the top of the Renaissance wall that surrounds the city. There are classical music and Puccini concerts in the church of San Giovanni Battista (around the corner from the Cathedral of San Martino) , every evening , featuring works of Mozart, Puccini, Verdi and other Italian composers (All of this, because it is the birthplace of opera composer, Giacomo Puccini).

July brings the Lucca music festival with the famous stars such as Sheryl Crow, Alisha Keyes, Nora Jones, Elton John, to name a few, and of course, more Puccini opera amphitheatre.
