Apartment "Arco" in the heart of Lucca is located inside a medieval wall-gatedescribed in the tourist guides.

The characteristic apartment, located on the 2nd floor of an antique XIII century building, has rooms full of atmosphere with stone walls and vaulted roof. Entrance is from the main street of the city centre (Fillungo street, see photo 3), very close to the most important touristic destinations: Roman Anfiteatro, San Frediano Square, Walls Promenade, Guinigi Tower, Clock Tower and close to stylish shops, typical restaurants and cafes.

Near the apartment you can find bike-hire (bicycles can be hired for cycling round the medieval walls), corner shops, newsagents, phone and internet points and the main Tourist Information Office.

Peaceful apartment situated in no-traffic area, the nearest car park and taxi rank is only 30 m distant and the main road only 200m.

It lies in an ideal position to reach all the art centres of the whole Tuscany: Florence, Siena, Pisa. Pisa airport is only 20 minute drive. The town is surrounded by beautiful countrysides (Barga, Montecarlo, Nozzano), only 20 minute drive to beautiful sand beaches and lively night-life such as Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi and one hour drive to visit the Cinque Terre.

If you prefer the mountains to the seaside you can choose the Garfagnana area and the Alpi Apuane whith white marble used by Michelangelo.

Summer in Lucca offers many concerts (such as Lucca Summer Festival), local festivities and street markets.

The apartment has 70 square metres and is comprehensive of an entrance; a living-room with two double sofa-bed, a table and five chairs, and a fitted wardrobe.

The rooms are dominated by the view of Fillungo street from the window. There is a well equipped kitchen with fridge/ freezer, Italian coffee machine and American filter coffee machine; a dining-room with a table, four chairs and TV.

There is a bathroom with bath, shower, bidet and washing-machine.

A bedroom with double bed and fitted wardrobe. From the bedroom and the dining room there are beautiful views.

Conditions

Refundable breakages deposit of £200 required on arrival, to be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).

25% of rental fee due six weeks before your stay to secure booking.
