The Tuscany region
You will be in the heart of Tuscany, close to the sea, and ideal for any day trip to visit the arts town as Florence, Siena. Cinque Terre is also not far, and can be easily reached within a 2 hours drive from the farmhouse.
Tuscany is a by far the most famous region of middle Italy. It is best known as the home of Florence where the renaissance of art and sculpture began. So in Florence are some of the most famous churches and museums worldwide.
Lucca area
Lucca's province offers a beautiful countryside, the famous beaches of Viareggio and Forte dei MArmi and wonderful mountais as Te Apuane Alps as well as the Garfagnana Region.
Lucca itself is a medieval city on a plain and is still completely surrounded by its 16th Century walls. It has rightly become a noted tourist destination. The rolling hills around Lucca are famous for the extraordinary quality of the olive oil Even the local wine production has been in the last decades strongly increased.
How to get there
The property is set in the countryside around Lucca, about 10 km far from the centre of the town. Lucca is close to Pisa and Florence airports, where all the major companies are present, such as British Airways, Air France, Iberia, and also low costs companies such as Ryan Air and Easy Jet.

From there is just a short drive - 20minutes from Pisa, 45 minutes from Florence to reach the town of Lucca.
