Home description
This farmhouse is part of a larger farmhouse, divided into three units, and has been renovated to a high standard of modern comfort and convenience, yet the rustic quality has been kept. On the ground floor is a large living room with a fireplace, a dining room with a fireplace and a really beautiful country kitchen, fully equipped.
All of the downstairs rooms open onto the front garden through French windows. Outside is a lovely large covered pergola with a table for dining al fresco. There is also a BBQ and a lovely swimming pool. This farmhouse is actually attached at the far side to another farmhouse but it is completely independent with an independent road, entrance and garden.
Upstairs you will find the four bedrooms all with screens on the windows.
There are two double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms, and 3 bathrooms. One double bedroom and one twin have a bathroom ensuite, with shower. The last bathroom has a tub and a shower.

The Tuscany region
You will be in the heart of Tuscany, close to the sea, and ideal for any day trip to visit the arts town as Florence, Siena. Cinque Terre is also not far, and can be easily reached within a 2 hours drive from the farmhouse.
Tuscany is a by far the most famous region of middle Italy. It is best known as the home of Florence where the renaissance of art and sculpture began. So in Florence are some of the most famous churches and museums worldwide.
Lucca area
Lucca's province offers a beautiful countryside, the famous beaches of Viareggio and Forte dei MArmi and wonderful mountais as Te Apuane Alps as well as the Garfagnana Region.
Lucca itself is a medieval city on a plain and is still completely surrounded by its 16th Century walls. It has rightly become a noted tourist destination. The rolling hills around Lucca are famous for the extraordinary quality of the olive oil Even the local wine production has been in the last decades strongly increased.
How to get there
The villa is set in the countryside around Lucca, about 11 km far. Lucca is close to Pisa and Florence airports, where all the major companies are present, such as British Airways, Air France, Iberia, and also llow costs companies such as Ryan Air and Easy Jet. From there is just a short drive - 20minutes from Pisa, 45 minutes from Florence to reach the town.
