Lucca is a small medieval city surrounded by the ancient walls that still stand and you can walk or bike on top of them. Well known for its historical villas and buildings, medieval towers and the nearly 100 churches. Too many to mention but some of the most famous are Piazza Anfiteatro, Torre Guinigi, Duomo di San Martino, S.Frediano's church, Palazzo Pfanner, Villa Bottini.

You will enjoy strolling down Via Fillungo, the main shopping street, and the narrow alleways with cafes, bars and typical trattorias where you can taste traditional dishes.

Lucca is a prime location for festivals and fairs. The most important is the Lucca Comics and Games Festival which takes place at the end of October but you can also enjoy the Lucca Music Summer Festival and the Jazz Festival, the Film Festival, the Settembre Lucchese with the traditional costume procession of Santa Croce on the 13th of September, the Viareggio's Carnival in February.

Once a month there is one of the most important Antiques Market and Art and Craft Fair.

Lucca' s countryside offers beautiful landscapes and you can visit the wineries and farmhouses to taste excellent wine, olive oil and typical products.

Just outside Lucca there is the "Fluviale park "by the Serchio River where you can do horseback riding, bike riding and kayaking.

At last but not least, the Versilia Coast renowned for the sand beaches and its nightlife is within easy reach.

"Our Holiday in Toscana"

It's a marvelous impressing place combining accessibility of vast space, picturesque surroundings, nearness of the sea, and the comfort of the fabulous house!
During some days spent in this place we drove and went by train to Florence , Pisa , Cinque Terre and many other places. Besides we simply fell in love with Lucca .
It's easy to reach the sea by a car even some times during a day – the way is not tiresome.
The villa is surrounded by the sceneries you would like to draw even if don't have the talent for this)))
The house can accommodate some families at the same time, it has perfect planning, it's cool there when it's hot outside, and we should mention that the villa is beautiful!
