About the home

The apartment offers an individual character that has been created by its architect owners. Very comfortable specified for a couple of guests with all modern conveniences installed, including air conditioning to make your stay more pleasurable.
The apartment includes a double bedroom, a bathroom with Jacuzzi bath-tub, a large living room and a small but fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with oven, microwave, electric stove top, dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine kettle, coffee maker and iron. Two bicycles are available.

The Tuscany / Lucca Province region

Lucca, one Toscana’s most enchanting small towns, is surrounded entirely by 16th century walls (baluardi) of ancient stone, enclosing one of Italy’s finest medieval treasures. Here you’ll find well-preserved Romanesque churches and medieval towers, old grocery and pastry shops with delicious local specialties, bike paths to pedal down and tree-lined pathways to stroll.

The Lucca area

Lucca is a city for walking. Unlike many cities where climbing hills is required, Lucca’s flat landscape and narrow winding lanes create the perfect conditions for commuting by bicycle as many locals do, or to explore on foot. Its solid ramparts, once used for fortification and patrolled by soldiers, minimize traffic and are today landscaped encouraging people to walk or ride their bikes around the perimeter of the city, admiring the view.

Our apartment is located within the Lucca's city wall and Piazza San Francesco is less than 30m away.

The location is very convenient with public parking within 20m of the street door, shops, bars, restaurants, museums, banks and gelaterie all withing 30m of the front door.

Lucca is a city rich in charm and history -- a city of yesterday to be enjoyed today.
