The apartment is located in the historic centre of Lucca, not far from the famous 16th C. Walls of Lucca. The refined and elegant furniture makes it a prestigious place to stay. The apartment consists of a very large eat-in kitchen, two very large bedrooms, two bathrooms and large open space sitting room. From the kitchen you walk into the outside patio for those wonderful al-fresco meals! Guests have partial use of the garden.Pleasant and comfortable, the apartment will give you moments of total relaxation in the centre of Lucca.

Lucca area
The picturesque medieval city of Lucca, one of the most important in Tuscany, is a wonderful area for a holiday. There is always things to do and see both in Lucca and the surrounding areas. The Garfagnana mountains, historic villas from the 16th Century, wine tasting, hiking in the beautiful hills surrounding this wonderful city. Lucca is full of history, art, local life, and good food. You can easily reach the sea resorts of Versilia, Cinque Terre, Portofino. Florence and Pisa are within a short car ride. Trains and local bus transportation are very convenient. Tours and extra services for your self-catering property can be organised.
How to get there
Lucca is very easy to reach by airplane, car or train. Pisa airport only 20 kms about one half hour drive. Florence airport 65 kms, about one hour drive. The train station is just outside the city walls within easy reach to the historic centre where the property is located. More detailed information on how to reach the property upon booking.

Further details indoors: The galley-type kitchen is modern and very large with a gas cooker and a small portable electric oven. There is a small laundry room with clothes washer. Glassware, dinnerware and linens are included. There is no clothes dryer or telephone.
The en-suite bathroom in the master bedroom has a small bathtub with over head shower. The second bathroom has a stall shower. Arrangements can be made for special services requested such as meal preparation, local tours, drivers, sightseeing, etc. The home owners are very friendly and very helpful and they live in two apartments upstairs.
Further details outdoors: The large garden behind the building is taken care of by the owners. It is a typical garden of the area with many local mediterranean plants--olive trees, laurel, rosemary, sage, geraniumus. On the warm spring and summer days it is a delight to sit outside on the patio and enjoy this pretty view in complete privacy. Table and chairs are provided.
Further details
The apartment is available all year round. Heating cost is not included in the price if needed. A meter reading will be taken upon arrival and consumption paid for on departure date. There will be an English speaking representative on hand to greet you when possible. The owners live in apartments on first floor and they will always be on hand for any assistance but at the same time offering the utmost in privacy. Arrival time is between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Departure time before 10 a.m. Saturdays. If necessary, changes can be made with owner when possible. Any extra nights beyond the weekly rate will be charged at €110 per night.
Conditions
Cost per week is €875 There is a final cleaning fee of €50 Linens are supplied and changed once a week at a cost of €15 per person per week. A €200 security deposit is required upon arrival. This will be returned to the guests on day of departure after a thorough inspection that nothing has been broken or damaged. No smoking and NO PETS, please. Not suitable for physically disabled. A 30% unrefundable deposit of the total cost is required to insure booking.

The owner's weekend rates apply to: Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights
NB: Prices may be subject to change at the owner's discretion. The weekly cost is 7 nights. Any extra nights will be charged Euros 110 per night. Easter and Christmas are considered high season. Heating costs are NOT included. A meter reading will be taken upon arrival and departure. Cost must be paid directly to the owner. Cleaning fee and linen costs are not included in the rental cost.
