The Tuscany region

Lucca is in a strategic position in Tuscany, because from this town you can get to many interest point in little time. In fact Lucca is near Versilia's sea and night life (only 20 km), near the mountains of Garfagnana, near Lucca's hills famous for their wine.

Moreover from Lucca you can go in little time in many famous Tuscany city like Pisa (22 km), Florence(about 40 minutes), Livorno, Viareggio (famous for his carnival) and many others.

Lucca's climate is hot in Summer and mild in winter. Summer and Spring are many agreeable like temperature.

Lucca is an ancient town, born like a Roman encampment in 180 a.C.

Lucca is famous for her many church(the town is called " the town of 100 churches") and for the Wall that surrounded completely for 4 km the entire historical centre. The Wall that you can see today was erect in XV-XVII centuries when Lucca was a little Republic in the central Italy.

Lucca was surrounded in past from others 2 Walls. One of this was erect about in 1200 when the town was governed from Longobards.Today remain only 2 gates of this Wall. The other Wall was built with the town in Roman age.

Today Lucca is famous also for the event of " Lucca comics and Games", the most important Italy's fair of comics and games.

Other important event in Lucca is the "Summer Festival", a music Festival that every year, in the month of July, host many international singers(in several days).

"The bare essentials"

The ONE bed small villa was set in beautiful surroundings as the picture shows. The details however, are much distorted compared with the description or should I say the add ons are very expensive. The place was bare in equipment i.e no kettle, no small pan, no oven gloves, mop etc the list continues. The property was clean and tidy. We did not use the pool as it was outside the season. The additional costs for gas and electricity for two adults who hardly used them amounted to £28 for the week. You had to purchase all bedding, towels, blankets etc which seem extremely steep in price. The owners were on site all week repairing pool etc it is a pity when we arrived at 3pm on Saturday they ask us to come back later. I said NO. It was only a short drive from their home so they turned up. Not the easiest place to find nearest town in NAVE which is about 3 miles west of LUCCA. Overall we enjoyed the holiday but would not recommend the place.

In our structure there is some house with only ONE bedroom, that I suggest to the couples, because the bedroom of these houses is bigger. Certainly, We've also houses with TWO bedrooms.
The cost of gas is 4 euro/cube meter and It's used for the cookers, for the heating and for heat the water in the boiler.
The price of gas is writed in advertisement, below the rents.
Moreover under the rent there is the price of linen (8 euro/person), that include towels and sheets for bed.
The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary for cook. So also pots and pans (but not oven gloves).
Moreover if due to our mistake, It miss some facilities, a client can ask It to us, and We provide It immediately.
Finally, about the arrival, I write to all clients that We're in the structure, to accomodate them, from 15.00 to 19.00 . About our conversation by phone, maybe there was a misunderstanding, because although the client arrived before 15.00, I went immediately to accomodate him. Maybe I can tell him to wait 10 minutes, because It's the time that I need for reach the houses from home. However I apologize if I didn't explain well.
