This brand new apartment is on the first floor of a block of 4 apartments in a residential area of Barga. It is about 60sm with luminous and stylishly furnished rooms. The general atmosphere is welcoming and peaceful and the views breathtaking. The master bedroom has a double bed and a single bed or sofa bed can be added if required. The kitchen is perfect for self-catering and the garden can be used for eating or sunbathing. The bathroom has a large shower and bath as well as wc, bidet and wash-hand cabinet. The front of the apartment has a balcony and and on the ground floor there is private garage with washing machine.
Perfect for visiting Barga, the Garfagnana area and Lucca. Ideal for a walking holiday.

The Tuscany region
Tuscany is breathtaking for its scenery and art. The main cities are Florence, Siena, Pisa, Lucca and many more maybe less famous but each unforgetable in its own unique way. Take a trip to the coast and admire the beautiful sandy beaches of Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi. If you prefer, the remote, picturesque villages of the Garfagnana area will marvel those who delight in nature and mountain landscapes. The cuisine is one of the best in the world.
Lucca - Garfagnana / Barga area
Barga is situtuated on a hill and is surrounded by the Apuane Alps on one side and the Tosco Emiliane Alps on the other. It has an older medieval town enclosed by ancient walls where the twisting roads and paths all lead up to the cathedral which overlooks the whole town. The view from here is absolutely breathtaking. here you will find quaint restaurants specialised in local cuisine, picturesque wine shops and local shops selling all sorts of surprising wares. Barga is famous for its history, scenery and wine bars. You can enjoy lovely walks in the surrounding countryside and on foot you can easily reach nearby villages like Catagnana and Albiano.
The summer months are lively and there are frequent markets and gourmet events. You can also visit art galleries, museums and enjoy live music. Friday evenings are famous in Barga for live music, jazz, soul and folk. There is a public swimming pool for those who prefer to laze around in the sun. If you want delicious food visit Riccardo's opposite the car park on the fosso, or inside the medieval walls there are "Altana", "Scaccia Guai", "Osteria Riccardo" in Piazza Angelio.to mention only a few.
How to get there
"Ryanair" do low cost flights from Prestwick, Edinburgh England etc. It is possible to get to Barga from Pisa airport by bus. At Pisa airport there are car hire companies. There is also a train service to Mologno station, 5 min from Barga, and from there I can arrange car transport directly to the apartment.
