The Garfagnana is a beautiful Mountainous region in Northern Tuscany, That is known locally as Little Switzerland-Piccolo Svizzera. There are many places of interest in the region including caves and places of geological interest and is famous for as well as its food, great trails for hiking, mountain biking and horse riding.
Also the amazing roads in the region are host to the world rally championships for two days in august. The Garfagnana Is ideally situated between the amazing cathedral cities of Pisa and Florence and the great beaches of Forte di Marmi and Viareggio.
