Home description

These cottages are modern with all essential utilities with a swimming pool 6mx12m set in the beautiful tuscan mountains .The structure is made completely of characteristic wood enhanced by modern comforts of every day living.There are two double bedrooms( i.e. 1 double bed and 1 bunk bed) in the cottage "sole" that can comfortably accommodate 4 people and in the sitting room there is a sofa bed for one person and therefore would be fine for 2 to 5 people.

The Tuscany region

Tuscany is surrounded by beauty .There is Florence the art capital of Europe ,Pisa with its famous leaning tower and there is Lucca with its medieval wall still fully intact.Tuscany also has beautiful mountains and splendid beaches like Viareggio.

Lucca - Garfagnana / Coreglia Antelminelli area

Coreglia is a village which was recently classified as being one of the 250 most beautiful medieval villages of Italy. There is also a magnificent medieval festival the last saturday of July with a fantastic firework display.There is also its famous chalk museum with its wonderful statues and is the last one of its type in Europe.
Interesting places close by are Barga , Castelnuovo and Bagni di Lucca.
Coreglia also has 4 restaurants, various shops, 2 bars ,a bank with cash machine ,post office and a chemist.
The cottages are 10 minute walk from the centre of the village.

How to get there

RYANAIR FLY DIRECT FROM GLASGOW,LIVERPOOL AND LONDON TO PISA.THERE IS A DIRECT TRAIN FROM PISA AIRPORT TO LUCCA AND THEN YOU WOULD CHANGE TRAIN TO GO TO GHIVIZZANO.THEN THERE IS A BUS THAT TAKES YOU TO COREGLIA.THERE IS ALSO A TAXI SERVICE IF YOU WISH,FOR AIRPORT PICK-UP.

On site you will have full access to a 12x6 meter swimming pool which has a depth of 1,5 m. , and a very child friendly area.
Swimming pool caps are needed when going into pool.Towels are required on sun-lounge’s
It should be noted that the swimming pool will not be available from 1st oct. To 30th april.

On arrival guests will be supplied with spaghetti , oil , salt , pepper , coffee , tea and sugar.

Conditions

Strictly no smoking except outside.
refundable breakages deposit of €100 required on arrival, .(subject to satisfactory property inspection).
25% of rental fee to be paid via bank transfer or cheque before your stay to secure booking. The balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to your arrival date.
