In the borough of Coreglia Antelminelli, wich is situated at the limits of the "Garfagnana" Valley, one of the mountainous green belts of Tuscany, where time in many cases seems to have stood still. In this oasis of peace and tranquillity you can find the old mill situated on the Ania river, an affluent of the major Serchio river. Built originally in 1490, and in 2002 restructured and re born as the "Al Molino Della Luna" (At Luna's Mill). Here this comfortable island of peace is immersed in 5 hectares of gardens, green lawns, woods, orchards, and in season cultivations, in addition to the primary activity wich is Bee keeping. Its strategic positioning gives its guests the easy access to cities and areas of primary touristic and historic interest, such as The Apuane Alps, The Versilia coastline, and the cities such as Lucca, Florence, Pisa. For who has the passion of trout and other freshwater fishing, they will find a wide variety of torrents, rivers, and natural and artificial lakes, which can be found in a 10 km radius. On site you will have full access to a 12x6 meter swimming pool, a dedicated area with a child play area, ping pong mountain bikes, all available for free and general access. Available at a set fee, there is babysitting, taxi, cleaning and change of bed linen during the week, a laundry, and sale of local produce. Available for rent in the newly renovated and refurbished accommodations, wich have kept their original historic values, and designs. All typical of the Tuscan region.

Lucca - Garfagnana / Coreglia Antelminelli area
There are many local places of interest which date back to medieval times like Castelnuovo Lucca and there is also a magnificent medieval festival at Coreglia Antelminelli at the end of July with a firework display which will be very hard to beat.There are also festivals at Lucca in the summer months.
How to get there
We are approximately 30 km from the city of Lucca. By car, exit at LUCCA from the A11 Motorway FIRENZE-MARE, then go straight on the Ringroad of Lucca, following the indications for CASTELNUOVO GARFAGNANA. After approximately 3 km take on the State Road number 12 (SS12). Continue to follow the indications for Castelnuovo Garfagnana and you will arrive at Piano di Coreglia.
