Home description

Layed back in the North of Bali resting on a slight slope overlooking the Sea. This fanstastic place boarders on a national park it has small mountains to the back and a beutifull sea view to the front. The tropical garden is full of Bananas and Mango and many flowers. There are 5 traditional separate bedrooms situated at different points in the Garden and a large open traditinal Dining-living area. 5 members of staff are on hand to tend to your needs and the cook will delight you with Balineases specialities. There is a large TV and a big selection of DVDs there is also a CD player. We have 3 fridges on the site and 3 rooms have Aircon and ventilator.
Your driver will advise you were to go and what to do and gladly will take responsilbilty for organising your trips.

The Bali region

Our Villa is on the far North Coast of Bali far away from the big tourist areas. Lovina is a quite small part tourist
part local beach front resort /Village. There are several bars and Restaurants and a few massage/spar palours situated along the beach front. The grand spar treatment costs only 16 euro and lasts 2 hours incl full body massage and scrub and then a flower bather and rub down with body lotion,Mmmmmmm. You can catch a transport to and back to your villa for 2 euros nearly every bike owner is willing to help. At 6 oclock in the evening many people gather on the beach to watch one of the many fanstastic sunsets and a cold beer.

Lovina / Lovina Beach area

There are many things to do such as snorkeling at the local reef of Dolphine spotting in the early hours were you can see a wonderful sunrise in a traditional bali boat.
Maybe visit the holy hor springs or take a trip to the monky forest or one of the local temples. The average temperature is about 29 degrees all year round and the water temperature is about 27 degrees. Let your driver take you to many of the unspoiled beutifull waterfalls unknown to many tourists or participate in international acredited diveing course for as little a s130 US§. Or go on a diveing safari for only 50 & aday inc equipment, travel and packed lunch. or maybe visit the butterfly park or jungle trekking for as little as 8 euro.

How to get there

6 BEDROOMS, You can fly from any International Airport , However Frankfurt is the cheapest Flights starting around 380 pounds.The Car and driver is included in the rent there is also a motor scooter.
There are always local taxis available - but be wary as they may try to overcharge tourists. you must allways 'hagel'.
You will be picked up at the Airport by your driver and driven to My Villa

Each house has a open air bathroom and private terrace . The main house has a large roofed balcony.and a ajoining children's room. One bedrooms are situated in a elivated teak wooden house with thatched roofs
they are very nice and cool. These houses are all separated within the garden which is secured by a artisticly built wall. There is also a fridge in each of the 4 bedrooms, pool area and main liveing area.

Further details outdoors:
Taman Burung is situated about 2 Km from the local village sometimes your hear Hindu praying in the evening and early morning this is the real Bali. There are many things to do in Bali such as Snorkeling ,fishing,trekking, rafting ,Elephant park and Bird park. You may want to visit the traditional healer who has been visited by the King of Denmark. or visit one of the fine restaurants and enjoy a meal for as little as 6 euro.

You get the whole place to your selves, And you may descide what and when you want to eat.
The only extra cost is the petrol for the car and food money for buying the grociries this is 8.00 euro per person per day. We also charge a Car service charge of 10 euro per trip this pays for repairs driver meals and insurance.
There is lots of Mineral water in a cooler and plenty of fresh fruit for free. We also have a small bar were you can enjoy a drink at near cost prices. The whole place is exclusively yours when you rent this fanstastic place

We rent out only on a weekly basis our week has 6 nights, Pickup and drop off at the Airport is free for eatch group
The Mini Bus is included (every secound day ) however you must pay the service charge and petrol as you use it which is very cheap The small Service charge per day of use which goes directly to the driver.

We have two price models , Tariff 1. is per person per week and Tariff ,2 is for per Groups of 5 to 14 persons per week. Please ask for more information. All groups with over 4 persons pay 150 per person per week extra

The price includes ,Car, Driver , .room Maid., Gardener,Tour guide,Cook, pool attendant, night wachman.

Also Electricity, Mineral water,Fruit ,Towls bedding and Cleaning. All alcoholic drinks are supplied at nearly cost price. The large 10 seater mini bus with driver is available every second day and is incl in the rent. Petrol for all vehicals must be paid extra. We charge 10 euro service charge for the mini bus per day of use. Also there is a 8 euro per person per day obligatory food money charge which is for one large breakfas and one large 3 course meal, there is some fruit for . Children under 12 pay halfe food money price (ask for detalis).

Dear Mrs and Mr Healey,

our group of friends spent in May 2006 two wonderful and unforgettable weeks
in Taman Burung! When we spoke to family and friends before we left,
everyone told us that the pictures were beautiful but warned us that you can
take nice pics from not too nice places also! However having this advice in
mind we arrived in Lovina and. were astonished! The site is even more
beautiful than you can see on the pictures!

But it is not only this: the team of Taman Burung made the stay to the most
special one all of us ever had.
Made welcomed us warm at the airport and then took us on daytrips: we went
walking, saw monkeys, went on boat trips, did elephant riding, rafting,
Dolphin watching, snorkelling, shopping. there is much to see and to do in
the north of Bali and what's special is that there is not much tourism!
Every second day we spent at the pool in the shade of the parasol or joining
a fruit cocktail or beer at the pool bar (inside the pool!). So it was the
perfect combination of adventure, discovery and tranquility.
Putu welcomed us at the main house with drinks and served us breakfast,
lunch and dinner and stayed around to accompany us for evening drinks and
fun. Not only our smallest one Benny (2 years) fell deeply in love with her
because she read every wish from our eyes.
Ilu did excellent cooking! We had a menu to choose from and enjoyed
delicious fruit pancakes or choice of fruits with toast and tea / coffee for
breakfast, sandwiches for lunch and for dinner a three course menu of
Balinese cuisine or traditional Asian food.
Komang and Papa Palme are in charge of the whole estate. They treated the
garden, pool and the bathrooms with such intense care that we couldn't find
a difference to German standard in a 4 or 5 star hotel! But what is
different is that the estate is private, there are beautiful arrangements of
flowers all over the place, a (we have to say) perfectly cared for garden
with many flowers full abloom, nature all around you like a cute little frog
who visited us every night while brushing our teeth.

We recommend Taman Burung for every visitor without exception. It is perfect
for families, group of friends with up to 10 people and we would like to
thank the whole team of Made, Putu, Ilu, Komang, Papa Palme for the
extraordinary stay we had and last but not least Mrs and Mr Healey for the
smooth booking and last minute tips. Congratulations for this great team!
