About this location
The Lincolnshire region
Only a 30 minute drive to historical Lincoln to the west, and the Lincolnshire coast to the East.
LOUTH is officially Britain's favourite market town!
The town topped a poll among thousands of readers of BBC Countryfile magazine, and the win has been described as 'national recognition of how special Louth is'. The magazine launched the contest in April 2012, and after being shortlisted it was up to the public to have their say.And Louth saw off stiff competition from the likes of Ludlow, Stamford and Richmond to earn the title.
We have two great golf courses close by; Kenwick Park and Louth Golf Club.

"Fantastic, comfortable and immaculate"
We just wanted a base for going walking and chose Cow Pastures Barn as it was reasonable and looked lovely.
When we arrived the owner met us with the keys on time and was really friendly and welcoming. On entering the barn we were amazed at the high standard of decor and quality of furnishings. Everything was immaculate and tastefully decorated. We travel alot and this was the first place we had been where we felt we didn't need to wash utensils and plates before use. There was everything we needed from board games and books to a sewing kit and lunchbox. There was tea, coffee, sugar and milk and they even left us a packet of biscuits.
The bed was very comfortable and we had 2 great nights sleep.
The views were lovely and it was in a great location for walking. We went to Hubbards Hills and had a lovely day.
Thank you again to Jim and Philippa for the wonderful stay at Cow Pastures Barn 10/10
