About the home

Larch Lodge is set in the peaceful woodlands surroundings in the grounds of the Kenwick Woods Hotel.The beautiful Georgian town of Louth with its Shops, Theatre, Cinema and Restaurants is five minutes away. The city of Lincoln is within easy driving distance, and the East Coast with its resorts are within a 20 minute drive.
The Lincolnshire Wolds are classed as an area of Natural Outstanding Beauty and provide excellent walks.

The Log Cabin has 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms, with a large open plan living/dining/kitchen leading onto a covered verandah to enjoy al freso dining and watching the wildlife. The luxurious accommodation suits families and is a haven for golfing enthusiasts.

The Heart of England / Peak District / Lincolnshire region

The Lincolnshire Wolds is an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and an ideal base for walking ( see http://www.visitlincolnshire.com) and relaxing, a short drive will take you to many East Coast resorts with all their attractions, plus fantastic quieter areas for bird watching. Cadwell Park hosting the MCE British Superbikes in 2010 is also within a 10 minute drive. Or if you fancy a go, book a driving experience at Manby just down the road. Louth is a beautiful Georgian Town with a Museum, Theatre www.louthplaygoers.co.uk and Cinema as well as shopping and restaurants. Horncastle is famous for its antiques and is a 20 minute drive away. Lincoln with the Cathedral used in the filming of The Da Vinci Code is also a short drive away. Alternately explore the WW11 Bomber trail, East Kirkby Aviation Museum, with Just Jane their fantastic Lancaster - www.lincsaviation.co.uk , is within a 25 min drive, and the BBMF at Coningsby is in one of the near villages to East Kirkby. Or follow in the footsteps of Tennyson.
