"Ideal Luxury Accommodation for a Long Stay"
We made Byford Lodge - just 10 minutes walk from family in Louth - our base during a 4-week visit from New Zealand. Having 2 bedrooms, both with en-suites, enabled other family and friends who lived further away to stay with us for a few days and for all to be comfortable. Bright, clean, modern and with all the kitchen and bathroom facilities you could wish for - including a good stock of crockery and cutlery - ensured our stay was never stressful. The good weather allowed us to take advantage and use the outside patio and furniture. The welcome food basket with essentials - and a bottle of wine - plus home-cooked food in the freezer available for purchase meant we didn't have to do all the cooking. Additional food supplies can be bought from a supermarket just 200m away and all the excellent specialist shops in Louth are just a further 200m along the road. Free Wi-Fi enabled us to easily maintain contact with friends and events in NZ whilst staying in UK. The owners were attentive when needed and particularly so during the booking process when our flight schedule, and thus accommodation booking dates, had to be changed a couple of times. We did find the beds a little too firm for our preference but the owner responded promptly to us by email to their own property review we completed on departure and stated a soft mattress topper will be provided next time we stay. The accommodation was as good as we had hoped for but also exceeded our expectations in a number of areas - we will certainly be using Byford Lodge on our next visit to the UK.
Thank you for the kind review and glad you enjoyed your stay. Hope to see you again in the future.

"Must be the only accommodation of this calibre in Louth"
We stayed here on the night of our wedding. The lodge felt really spacious and had everything you could possibly need for self catering. Great attention to detail and luxurious furnishings, and very friendly and welcoming hosts.

This cottage is a little Gem in a lovely area. We had a very relaxing and peaceful stay at Byford Lodge over New Year. Everything is done to a very high standard with lots of lovely extras included. It is also very warm and cosy, a real home from home. The welcome pack which included home made bread and jam was absolutely delicious. Our 15 year old son loved having his own TV in his bedroom and fully working WIFI for all his gadgets was a god send. The town is only a short walk away from the cottage with some lovely shops and the people are so very friendly. The only downside was having to go home and back to work ! We would have no hesitation in recommending Byford Lodge and we will certainly be retuning sometime soon. Thank you Josie and Iain.
Dear Anne marie & Des - thank you for your very kind review it was a pleasure to have you stay with us and what fantastic weather you had for your long days at the beach ! Hope to see you again in the future.

"beautiful house, excellent facilities in a very lovely area"
Had a wonderful two week stay in the lodge, with husband and children aged 13, 10 and 2. The house is beautiful, with lovely comfortable beds and a gorgeous bathroom with a fantastic roll top bath. Had everything required for a fantastic, relaxing stay. The local area is well worth a visit, Louth itself is an interesting and vibrant little market town, with great shops and nice places to eat. There are some lovely seaside towns, easily reached by car, where you can hire a beach hut by the day. The owners who lived next door, were so kind and couldn't have been more helpful. We all had a relaxing holiday, in a fabulous house, in a beautiful part of England. Would recommend Byford Lodge to anyone, my daughters still talk about it in very wistful tones, we will certainly return.

very friendly welcome by the owners and fully equipped little house with more than we expected, complete luxury to have 4 tv sets and even a playstation (2) with different games, louth is a very charming little town with plenty local shops and restaurants, the area is underreated and well worth a visit, we were surprised there are not more tourists in lincolnshire and Louth is a good central location to explore, we had a fantastic time even with the weather on the chilly side, highly recommened
