Has short distance to the local town of Loulé and Almancil with the local shops, restaurants and bars. It is only 10km from the popular 5 star beach and golf resort of Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago.

Villa David is a 2 bedroom property, standart capacity is 4 persons. Bedroom 1 with double bed is facing east with view over the mountains. Has fan and electric heating. Bedroom 2 with two single beds is spacious facing south, with great sea view and equipped with air conditioning, writting desk and a shelf with books. Both bedrooms are equipped with fitted wardrobes and bedroom cabinets. An extra single bed can be provided in this bedroom for one more person, sleeping 5 persons maximum in the property.
There are two new bathrooms lovely decorated with tiles all around and top granit units. Bathroom 1 equipped with Wc, wash basin, bath (overhead shower) and bidet. Bathroom 2 has Wc, wash basin and shower. Both have electric heating.
Fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave, oven, hob, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, washing machine, iron and ironing board and solar panel for heating the water. It is possible to watch the Tv in the living room when you are taking your meal. Kitchen door has access to the barbecue and pool area.
Beautiful living room facing south with bar, air conditioning, comfortable seating (sofas in real leather), fireplace, Cable TV with English channels, Hi-Fi Radio and Cd player, DVD player. Has view over the pool and the sea. Door access to a sunny balcony with table and chairs facing south with great sea and countryside views.

There is a sunny terrace, facing south, private, secluded, perfect for sunbathing. Has private pool (shower included), barbecue area with table and chairs to eat all fresco and enjoy the stunning sea and countryside views. Sunloungers and umbrellas available for guests use.
Has a balcony facing south with dining table and chairs, has lovely views of the sea, countryside and local area. The mature gardens are surrrounding the property. Plants, flowers, grass, pine trees are really fabulous.
Garden maintenance is done once a week and pool maintenance is done twice a week (minimum). Assistance to the guests is provided when it is necessary.
Towels and linen provided. Linen and towels are changed once a week. Please bring your own beach / pool towels.

Algarve is just perfect for a relaxing and fun holiday. With a long beautiful coast with beaches of fine sand and transparent water in the east and with high rocks and cliffs, exotic vegetation in the west side.
Almost a full year of sun, several choice of golf courses, being a attraction for players all over the world. The marinas are offering great activities like boat trips around the coast, dolphin watching and fishing. Sailing and deep fishing are a delight for those who like to enjoy sealife. Countryside is worth a look with beautiful mountains, great views and tasty food. Morning markets, flea markets and gypsy markets are a visit card for people that love the fresh food and look for the specialities of the Algarve. So much to discover, it is great to live in the Algarve!
The Loule / Sao Clemente area
The property is located in a central location, with short access to the local town of Loulé and Almancil and only 10 mins drive from the 5 star beach and golf resort or Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo. You can play mini golf also in the different courses, located near the beach.
Loulé is famous for the morning market in the centre of the town, where you can find your souvenir, a good sellection of meat, fish, vegetables and fruits.
There are good traditional restaurants where you can eat the local tasty food at affordable prices. There are snack bars and a restaurant at walking distance from the property with live football matches. Supermarkets, banks, restaurants and local shops are in Loulé and Almancil, within 3km from home.
The Carnival of Loulé is considered the best in the Algarve, you can expect people with masks dancing in the streets, sexy dancers and representation of the political figures. Summer Carnival in August also worths a look.
Cinema is available in Faro with 9 movies theatres showing the new movies, working everyday. Gypsy markets are interesting, you can find them everyday in Faro near the bus station «Eva» and Wednesday in Quarteira.
There are quality bars in Almancil with good music and serving quality drinks. The most of the night bars are closing at 4.00 am and discos are closing at 7.00 am. Discos can be found in Vilamoura and Albufeira with great parties, like the lady's night and the foam parties.
Bars in Almancil - The Irish Pub, Monty's, T Club are quality bars with Sky Tv, live music, karaoke and snooker. A Strip Club "St. James" in Almancil, where beautiful girls are waiting for you.
Karting in Almancil is also great to go for those who like to drive in a difficult course and race with their friends in a karting car.
In a short drive, visit Vilamoura, with the lovely Marina, Casino and Disco. Choose your favourite cruise (some with champagne and barbecue option) and enjoy the boat trips and look at the beautiful coast, the dolphin's, visit the caves and fish the shark, reef and conger.
10 mins drive from the 5 star beaches (Quinta do Lago, Ancão e Vale do Lobo). Flat beaches of fine sand, with beautiful cliffs and pines. Restaurants and bars close by. You can also choose from other beautiful beaches like Praia do Trafal, Praia do Loulé Velho, Praia de Quarteira, Praia de Vilamoura and Praia da Falésia, being the main ones. Most of them offering fun water activities and good for snorkelling.
In Guia, you will find Zoomarine, entertaining and educational oceanographic facility with all kinds of amusement like: dolphin's show, tropical aquarium, cinema, fairground rides, arcade games and swimming pools. Bars and restaurants can found be inside.
Tennis academies, in Vale do Lobo with tennis courts, tournaments, professional coaches providing lessons.
A great water park, Aquashow, in the road direction Quarteira with many attractions like: water roller coaster, white fall, wave pool, foams, slides, jacuzzi and a museum of Portugal history. Many water activities in Vilamoura Marina with boat charters, dolphin watching, parascending cruises, jet ski hire, wakeboarding, water skiing, ringo rides and banana rides.

We spent 10 wonderful days at Villa David. It was clean and very well cared for by Jean who kept the pool in pristeen condition throughout our stay. David and Jean were excellent hosts and the location of the Villa is ideal to reach all of the most visited sites on the Algarve coast. The weather seems always to be excellent and the views and scenery from the Villa were wonderful. We barbequed most days with some amazing price worthy shellfish bought at the local market. All in all worth every penny we spent. I would recommend this rental to couples and families alike. Response: Dear guests! It is a very nice & quiet place away from city but it`s not far from supermarket and village . Villa has its best views for romantic sunset or sunrises with the big pool. Its good to know that Jean is on the hand if you need anything. And we always look forward to our BBQ with Jean, David & his mrs in the end of our holiday. Response: Dear guests! Air conditioning is allready included in the rental price only from May until September. If you don't require the air conditioning, there is a reduction of 50 Euro per week.
Fans or electric heating equipment are also available.
Changeoverday: Preferred changeoverday is Saturday or Sunday in July and August. However we can be flexible, please enquire if you have different dates.
A deposit of 40% (not refundable) secures a booking and the balance has to be paid on the arrival day. Payment in Euros.
The minimum reservation period is 7 days.
Security: the amount of 200€ in cash is required for security breakage of the house equipment. This must be paid on arrival and will be refunded on departure providing no damage occured.
Hour of arrival is any time from 3.00 pm and hour of departure is at 10.00 am (this is for allow time for cleaning and preparing the property for the next guests).
Long term lets over 1 month considered starting October until April, please enquiry for prices per month.
