The penthouse is ideally situated in Loule town with many amenities on your doorstep. It is a modern, spacious, 3 bedroomed penthouse tastefully decorated and furnished; boasting panoramic views from two very large sunbathing terraces. All your needs are catered for, a real home from home. The bus station, only minutes away, offers air-conditioned travel for sightseeing at reasonable prices, should you decide not to hire a car. Faro is 20 minutes by bus and there are a variety of sandy beaches, a short 10 minutes drive away.
Loule has a beautiful park only a 5 minute walk away, which had its grand re-opening in the Spring of 2012, where there's something for all the family and it's all free!!
There are shops and restaurants within walking distance, along with the castle, historic churches and local markets.
An ideal retreat for a relaxing or sightseeing holiday. Inland location, with many facilities close by.
After exploring, return to the penthouse and soak up the sun on the private, peaceful terrace and treat yourself to some al fresco dining, accompanied by some very reasonably priced Portuguese wine.

The penthouse offers a spacious lounge with dining area - table and 6 chairs, 2 sofas, 2 coffee tables, satellite tv and dvd player. Patio doors lead to the larger of the two terraces, which enjoys a 180 degree panoramic view taking in the sea and coastline of the Algarve.
Fitted kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, extractor fan, microwave, kettle, toaster, radio/cd player, washing machine, fridge/freezer, iron and ironing board, table and 4 chairs. Sufficient crockery, cutlery, glasses and cookware for all self-catering needs. Plastic plates and glasses for outdoor use. The kitchen also opens onto the larger terrace, which is equipped with sun loungers, table and chairs and gas bbq.
Delightful hallway leads to small shower room and toilet; bedroom with two single beds, fitted wardrobes and make-up desk; spacious family bathroom; bedroom with king size bed, fitted wardrobes and drawers; en-suite bedroom with king size bed, fitted wardrobes, drawers and free standing mirror. This bedroom opens onto one of the large sun terraces.
Shower and bathrooms are fully tiled with illuminated mirror. Bathrooms have shower over, w.c., bidet and wash basin.
There is a hairdryer in each bedroom.
Bed linen and both bath and beach towels are provided.
There are a selection of board games and playing cards.
On the same floor as the penthouse is a communal area where residents hang their washing, accessed via a locked door for security purposes.

The Algarve is well known for its blue sky and sunshine, making it an ideal holiday desination throughout the year. Average daytime temperatures during winter are 14-20 degrees and during the summer 25-35 degrees - sometimes higher!
The Central Algarve region really does have something to suit everyone - beaches, historical towns, waterparks, shopping centres, potteries, vineyards, orange groves, olive trees, boat trips, fishing, festivals and much, much more.
The Loule area
The historic town of Loule is small enough to explore and big enough to fullfil your holiday needs.
The recently refurbished park has two play areas, one for young children, the other for the more adventurous older ones, an 18 hole crazy golf course (not to be missed), workout machines for those who over-indulge in Portuguese fayre, pic-nic areas and pleasant walks amongst indigenous trees, shrubs and flowers. 10 minutes away are tennis courts and an Olympic sized indoor and outdoor pool, diving and paddling pools, sunbathing areas and cafe. So reasonably priced, no more than a couple of euros, you can spend the whole day there.
A 10 minute walk to the centre where you will find a variety of shops, including boutiques, shoes, handbags, linens and souvenires. Numerous restaurants, mainly authentic Portuguese where you can try local dishes including famous Piri Piri chicken; Chinese and Japanese. A pretty location with fountains, pedestrianised shopping area, municipal indoor market open 6 days a week, historic castle walls and churches, library, recently refurbished theatre/cinema, post office and tourish information.
Perched on a nearby hill on the outskirts of the town can be seen the picturesque, dome-shaped, white church , Igreja Matriz de Sao Lourenco, which can be reached by car or on foot. More spectacular views from this location.
A gypsy market is held every Saturday from 10 a.m., which can be reached by heading on the road towards the white church. Here you can buy hand-made jewellery, leather goods, carved wooden ornaments, shoes, handbags, linens, clothing, artwork and souvenires.
There are many festivals and cultural events hosted in and around Loule throughout the year. Check web sites for details, i.e., www.louleuncovered.com.
Further a field you can visit one of a variety of excellent sandy beaches, play golf on one of the many top, world-class courses, have fun at Aquashow (here ride the largest roller coaster water ride in Europe), swim with dolphins at Zoomarine, try scuba diving, fishing, dolphin safari boat rides and so much more.
Sand City is another must, a little further to travel, but really worth the visit. Here you can see where sculpturers from around the world make the sand come to life, with a different theme every year - check out their web site at www.fiesa.org.
All in all, a great base to explore the Algarve or a home from home for a relaxing holiday with so much to offer on your doorstep.

We stayed at The Penthouse in early March with our 2 teenage daughters and had a wonderful holiday. The Penthouse is light, spacious and beautifully decorated. There are two large terraces with views over Loule and towards the coast and in the summer they must be fantastic sun traps. There is a bbq which must be nice to use in the summer months. Loule is a pretty town with a picturesque castle, artisan shops around every corner and the red roofed indoor market. We didn't hire a car but we did take the local bus, from the bus station opposite the apartment, into Vilamoura which is well worth a visit. There are plenty places to eat both local and international cuisine at reasonable prices, although The Penthouse kitchen is well equipped and we did use it often, trying to copy the local tomato and onion salad. We would definitely like to return to The Penthouse again, maybe in the summer to take full advantage of the terraces and bbq! Response: So happy you all had a great time. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at the Penthouse for 9 days. It is ideally situated with a few minutes walk to all local amenities. The owners have made sure that there is everything you could possibly need for the perfect holiday right down to beach towels (very handy when you only bring hand luggage). Although the weather wasn't great when we were there the outside areas have amazing views right over the town and to the sea and in the warmer months there is a great BBQ and so Al Fresco dining would be a must! We would definitely book the Penthouse again if we returned to the area and it was a pleasure to deal with Carol and also their friends who met us with the keys and made certain that we had everything we needed. The extra touch of a welcome pack with wine and traditional Portuguese bread, olives, cheese and sardine pate was very welcome after a day of travelling.
