This two storey villa has been tastefully furnished and decorated. There are 4 bedrooms (two with en-suite and a house bathroom) and a further sofa bed for extra guests on the pretty landing. The ground floor consists of an open plan living and dining area with a well equipped modern kitchen, which leads to the outside wooden decked dining area. There is a separate, cosy, seating area around the log fire for chilly evenings. The gardens, patio and pool area are easily accessed through the living room's French windows.

The open plan living room and dining area is split level with a step down into a cosy seated area which is cool in summer with traditional ceiling fan and cosy in early spring and late autumn with it's log burning fire. The house gives a feeling of space and light. There is seating for 8 around the wooden refrectory table with views out to the lovely garden. Upstairs, the Master Bedroom has a king sized bed with traditional Portugese furniture and superb en-suite. There is a further twin bedroom upstairs, also with en-suite.
Two further bedrooms (1 with double and 1 with twin beds) share a house bathroom and are on the ground floor. The bedrooms are all air-conditioned.
Upstairs there is a lovely, spacious, furnished landing with cosy settees and sofa bed.
The kitchen has been recently been refurbished and offers excellent facilities. This leads onto the outside wooden decked area where there is a further fridge/freezer to keep drinks cool for al fresco dining.
There is a separate utility room with laundry facilities.

The villa has stunning, landscaped and lawned gardens, with mature palm trees and shrubs, which provide plenty of shade for sunny days. Reached via a private cobbled lane, the house is not overlooked by any other property. The pool area is extensive and includes loungers and sun shades with table and chairs. There is a traditional built in BBQ and Pizza oven, which is great fun for all the family. The large private pool has built in steps and a shallow end and there is a separate round children's pool. There is also a very useful poolside shower with hot and cold water and even a ping pong table! The decking area is a fabulous spot to enjoy breakfast in the morning with views to the coast and surrounding hills.
Beds are made for arrival and house and pool towels are provided. Linen and towels are changed twice weekly. There is domestic help for three days during the week. The gardener attends twice a week and the pool is maintained on a weekly basis.
The Algarve region
The Algarve's attraction to golfers is renowned and it home to some of Europe's most stunning beaches and wildlife sanctuaries. It offers more sunshing hours than most countries in Europe - even in mid-winter you will be guaranteed a temperate climate. For such a small area the landscape varies dramatically - from the rugged cliffs at Cape St Vincent from where the first voyagers of discovery departed into the uncharted waters of the Atlantic, to the sleepy fishing villages close to the Spanish border. Whatever you are looking for, whether a beach holiday, watersports or golf, the Algarve will not disappoint.
Casa de Margem nestles in a lush, herb covered valley between the coast and mountains near to the town of Loule in the Central Algarve. This is the secret heart of the Algarve, where wild almond, fig and pomegranate trees grow around the villages, whose simple charms and whitewashed houses give the feel of having stepped back in time. You can still see traditional crafts being practiced; handmade tiles and bricks, and baskets woven with palm leaves. The local pottery is very good value. The pretty town of Loule with its Medieval castle and historic centre, much of which has retained its original charm is only a mile away. There is a covered market which spills onto the surrounding streets every Saturday which sells fish, seafood, fruit and vegetables. There are 2 excellent supermarkets in Loule, together banks, restaurants and bars etc. The closest bar and restaurant are only 400 yds away.
The nearest beaches are about 15 minutes drive away where there is plenty of parking and beach side restaurants. Most beaches include watersports and other outdoor activities. There are golf courses at Quinta do logo and Val do Lobo also around15 minutes drive.
