High Tide sits nestled on old head hill and forest. it is the oldest natural oak forest in Ireland and has lovely walks,which is access from the beach and lead out to the cliff tops and caves. The house boasts spectacular views of Croagh Patrick Ireland's holy mountain with annual pilgrimages in July and august. Dates not to be missed. The beach and prier is less than 200 meters with full time life guards during the summer months.The pier is busy to pleasure craft and on full tide is a hive of activity to pier jumpers. the house is open plan with all mod cons. under floor heating on the ground floor, stove fire for chilly evenings. There are four bedrooms two en-suite. The ensuite bedrooms have superking beds,and there is one double and one king size in the downstairs bedrooms.. The dining table easily seats 10 and they are comfortable couches for lounging while watching t.v. has some sky, English and Irish channels. The beaches in the surrounding area offer a wide variety of activities e.g. surfing, sailing, wind surfing,canoeing, pony and horse trekking. the mountains offer gentle walks or great challenges.

Surf boards and kayak are available.

Catamaran available for the experience sailor.
