Lostwthiel is full of history and character and has wonderful riverside walks. The town boasts history round every corner as Lostwithiel was once the capital of Cornwall. Intriguing antique shops, old pubs, Traditional and inspiring menus can be found in the various restaurants. There is an informative Museum, Duchy Palace and Restormel castle to explore. Bakeries, Butcher, Farmers Market and Community Centre - all add up to a lively and friendly town.The scenery is appreciated by local people as well as visitors. Within easy driving distance is Lanhydrock House and gardens, owl sanctury, steam trains, tall ships and a luxurious new Spa in Fowey.
